Dear nthn, I can not even begin to fathom to express how calming your video has been to watch from start to finish. I was considering buying one 7Artisans lens because I felt it was more "artsy" than the competition, but what has made it seem like an undoubtedly right decision was the price. I own a Fuji X-T20 and love what it has to offer and feel like it would make a perfect combination using one of these lenses. Again, thank you so much for making my work-loaded day seem like a distant memory and drowning me in nostalgic waters. All well to you, Jure
Thank you Jure! I appreciate the nice comment; you should definitely pick up this lens for your Fuji, you won’t regret what it has to offer. I was feeling the same before I ordered one.
One of my fav combos was a x-e2s with a meike 35mm f1.7. The combo was so light and the experience was so pleasant that it was easy to always take it with me.
I have this lens and love it. It is nice to take out to slow down a little bit when shooting. It's so easy to point an auto-focus lens without much thought. Manual focus really connects you to the camera and the shooting experience as a whole.
Dude this video was euphoric. Glad to see someone from up the frwy. Great shots. Definitely looking more into this lens. Really appreciated your content.
This video honestly made me think of selling my full frame Sony and buying a pocket sized Fuji kit, like I used to have a few years ago, and go out to enjoy photography in its pure form and essence. Thanks for that!
You, sir, have just inspired me to take my X-T30II out tomorrow with this lens and play with film simulations. Beautiful images and great selection of music.
I loved the rhythm of your narrative. Came here because of this lens I want for my old X-E1, I'll stay and check your youtube channel often from now on. Cheers from Spain 💕
This is beautiful, i always wanted this lens, and now i get the nice feeling of it when u reviewing this lens. Some other reviewers more like to review it as a bad lens, cheap performance, but in other hand with your review, this lens did the job well. This lens is not all about quality, but a character.
I own this lens for about two years now and it’s so fun to use. It’s an amazing piece of glass for its price, I didn’t expect it to be so sharp (at least in the centre). The field of view is almost perfect for me cause i like 35mm eq. but there are not so much lenses out there. You have to choose between 23 2.0 and 27 2.8 and man I’m just in love with the size of 27 but it’s a little bit narrow. 23 is not like a pancake and the price of fuji lenses not so pleasant. All these facts makes 7artisans 25 1.8 a great lens no doubt
Bro you are insanely underrated. Just found your channel when wanting a review for this lens. Jesus Christ your images and videos are insanely good. I absolutely love your style.
Such an incredibly relaxing video. Well done. I recently bought a 2nd hand X-T1 and got a 7artisans 35mm 1.4 with it but I find it a bit too narrow for everyday use so I might need to try this one. Loved the atmosphere and even the Undertale song. Subbed
Im so glad I found this channel. Here I was, sold on getting the 23mm f1.4 by ttartisan and now im pretty sure ive changed my mind! You wouldnt know how they compare to each other by any chance right? Please keep uploading to this channel, your content is like therapy.
Great video, some beautiful shots and color. I really like the 25mm 1.8, such a good value. Got mine for $50 used because AF lenses weren't working right when using my camera as a webcam, ended up liking it much more than the 27mm that came in my X-E4 kit. It's super easy to focus, I use it on an X-T2 now.
Thanks for your video, it is inspiring and relaxing. I was in a big hurry and stressed out. But... Yeah... This is not just a review... It helped me to calm down.
I have this lens for Fuji and Canon efm, I got three of these, amazing. Even made a review, made an entire channel out of it. Good luck man. Subbed. Great content.
Hi. I enjoyed the video. I’m a little confused based on comments. Are all the photos taken with the 7 artisan lens and then all of the video portions with a different lenses? Are any of the videos from the 7 artisan?
i had this lens awhile. i would say is decent for outdoor but quite poor indoors. overall is not bad. but i sell it off and switch to ttartisans 23mm 1.4 didnt look back since. but yea regardless is still a decent compact lens to go with, especially for a body like xe4
Beautiful shots and colours. Recently got this lens, want to get the look you have going on in this video. Are you using a film simulation for this? If yes, may I know what it is?
Thank u for great works. I do love your picture and gonna play with my X-T30II soon. BTW, it will be great if u can show parameters u used in pictures, then beginners like me can learn more from u, if possible :)).
Nice, you're gonna love that combo! For day photos I have it at F5.6 above, ISO at 160 and my SS at 500 - 1000. For night i keep it at F1.8, ISO 1600 - 3200 maybe 6400 and SS at 60.
@@nthnmtz cool beans! I’m going to try this setting first then i’ll explore for there… aaahhh i’m getting excited! 🥹💞 also, what shooting mode are you using with this lens? Manual, single or continuous? Like mostly… ☺️ thanks again!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Wow, great everything but I especially like the photos! It really shows you don’t need tons of bokeh to capture amazing portraits. I need to stop relying on fast lens lol.
youtube algorithm blessed me today this my new favorite channel
Shout out UA-cam algorithm 😂 thank you dude!

same settup. awesome
That's a very cool format for a review, none of that "welcome to my studio" bs, just pictures, music and thoughts. Well done!
4:08 That shot is astounding. Wow. Thank you for sharing your impressions.
Looks like something from The Backrooms
Each photo is more beautiful than the other and the description in each one adds to the shine.

Definitely. That's another reason why I enjoy the lens.
Thanks for showing footage you shot with the lens instead of you talking into the camera in your house talking about how much you love this lens.

Love this sort of peaceful and soothing content on YT specially when they are related to photography
Keep up your good work man

Gorgeous video. Can’t wait for my lens to arrive
bought the lens because of your review, i love it so much
I clicked the sub button in under 15 seconds. Great content, man!
Bought one of these lenses today for my x-pro 3, really love the video style. Good job

Oh shoot cool, I’ll check some of your vids out! & thank you!
That yellow tone saturation is the deal killer.
Amazing results man!!! Enjoyed the video 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great photos, I really enjoy the feeling of loneliness that some of your pictures can give
Love the vibes of this vid! Came across this video out of nowhere!
Dude, thank you!
you're insane! the video, the vibe, everything. almost teared up. did you record the video with the x-e4 aswell?
Let the tears out 🥲
The video was with the fujifilm XT4.
Hey! Im considering getting either a xe2 or xe3 with this lens! What would you recommend? They’re both at the same price tag
I haven’t tried either of those but the sensors on both are great! I’d maybe go with the xe2!
Thank you for having a comfortable moment (:
What a brilliant review. Thx for that.
I am ordering right now.
Thank you 🙌 enjoy the lens!
Do you use the X-E4 for photos and the X-T4 for video?
The xt4
What lens hood is that ??
So Sentimental photos and videos. THX
Sick shots! It looks like a 90s Japanese movie.
Beautiful video and lovely shots. Are all the photos sooc with simulations or edited later ?
Really like how the imperfections the lens has actually add to the feel. I shoot an X100F but if I ever pick up an X E4 it would be a gimme
Definitely! I highly recommend this lens especially for an xe4!
Damn, this hit so hard! well done.
This video here made me buy one! No regrets after a month’s use! Did you use cineprint16 for this video? Vibes are immaculate here
Amazing work and just found a new favorite Fuji channel! Quick question but what film recipe did you use for the opening video street shot?
Appreciate it! That first shot is a video filmed on daVinci resolve & photos were edited on Lightroom.
What Fujifilm film simulation you're using?
I used classic chrome but I edited the photos on Lightroom with my presets.
delightful video ! So relaxing
Hey man love the video.
When using the xe4 with a Manuel focus lens is focusing peaking available through the viewfinder as well ?
Thank you. Yes focus peaking is available on both viewfinder and screen.
What’s the difference between the 27mm 2.8 vs this ? I’m looking to buy the xe4 and want to know the difference
Hi. I enjoyed the video. I’m a little confused based on comments. Are all the photos taken with the 7 artisan lens and then all of the video portions with a different lenses? Are any of the videos from the 7 artisan?
Yes all photos are taken with the 7artisans and video is with a different lens.
wow... wonderful film.
Did you optimized the color of the video?
Does the lens hood helps anything with the lens? Love your video tho.
your shots are great and the colors is so beautiful ! keep up the good work ! wish you have a tutorials on how to do the colors on your videos
Appreciate it, I’ll make a video on how i color grade my video & edit in Lightroom in the near future.
amazing sense of photograph !!!
Nice video! Can I ask you what’s your set up to shoot videos, like what camera did you use?
Keep up the great work… just subscribed!
Appreciate it! I use the fujifilm xe4 & the xt4 for video & an anamorphic 24mm 1.8 or 50mm F1.8 I also use a Fujifilm WR 35mm F2 lens.
did you have to use any lens filter? like a diffuser or ND?
How did you achieve those colors especially in the videos, they're just too stunning
Filmvision v1 by serr
Would love a video about how you edit your photos and do the colour grading. Maybe some preset packs too :3
I’m the near future! However, photo edits are presets from an artist called “serr”, also the color grading as well! Check him out!
Which diffusion filter do you use?
I use a tiffen glimmer glass 1! Other gear I use is in the description.
Love the color and edits! It'd be really nice if you could show us the workflow. Great job!
In the near future!
Came for a lens review, left with a Boards of Canada music video
Super cool choice of music
wow amazing video enjoyed evety second of it keep it up. btw how do you achieve that halo in the lights?
I use a Tiffen Glimmer Glass 1 filter over my lens to achieve that orb/halo effect.
@@nthnmtz I dont think if I can find one of those here but THX man
What is your Lenshood called ?
love this review! were the videos also taken with the 25mm lens?
Thank you! No, video was film with a Fujinon 35mm f2 WR
were the videos shot with the lens as well? I love the way you shoot those shots, so cinematic
Thank you! The video was filmed on a anamorphic lens.
i had this lens awhile. i would say is decent for outdoor but quite poor indoors. overall is not bad. but i sell it off and switch to ttartisans 23mm 1.4
didnt look back since. but yea regardless is still a decent compact lens to go with, especially for a body like xe4
This video has a vibe. Great one!
Thank you!
Superb 👌🏼. I just want to know can we use XE4 as only video camera with kit lens ?
You can however the XE4 shoots at 8-bit video. I’d recommend a fujifilm X-T4.
how was the xe4 footage stabilized? it looks so smooth
Beautiful shots and colours. Recently got this lens, want to get the look you have going on in this video. Are you using a film simulation for this? If yes, may I know what it is?
Thank you, I usually edit my photos in Lightroom however, I choose different looks with an app called “FujiXWeekly”
Does the attachment that u have infront of the lens matter?
4:29 🤯 what did you do there? Looks like it was literally shot on $50k film camera, amazing work 🙌
Hi, great work! May i ask what grain did you use?
A free grain the UA-camr “serr” mentioned in his video!
Super nostalgic and cool maannn!!
I’m happy to know it gave off a nostalgic feel, thank you!
yooo u goooood good. them 3:35 shots amazing af.
Appreciate it dude! 🤝
Adding that it also has a swirly like bokeh when its wide open
May I ask, any specific recipe for the photos? Or did u shoot raw? Great pictures:)
Thank you! I shoot raw & usually edit my photos in Lightroom, however I do have a few favorite recipes, in my recent video I go over a few of those!
Thank u for great works. I do love your picture and gonna play with my X-T30II soon. BTW, it will be great if u can show parameters u used in pictures, then beginners like me can learn more from u, if possible :)).
beautiful work
do you shot this video using the lens
Awesom Video man!
Can u please do a tutorial on how u get those awesome colours for the photos?
Appreciate it! That’ll be a video for the near future.
how do you overcome the vignetting?
Nice video ! I really like the vibes ! What about the lens hood? Which one is it ?
Thank you! The lens hood comes with the lens!
@@nthnmtz whaat.. i didnt get a lens hood :/
Love the video and photos!! You haven't mentioned the focal length of the lens.?
Oh man I totally forgot to add the focal length to the title!
are you using any specific film simulations here or are these your own edits? the photos are amazing and so is the video
Appreciate it! Some photos are my edits & most of them are Adobe Lightroom presets I used from an artist called Serr. You should check him out!
Just purchased my x-e4 and this prime lens yesterday! By the way, what settings/mode do you usually use when you’re using this lens?
