As far as I know it should work like that most places. Only times it may not is when the AI has a different profile like in RoL, Arena and early act content. In the main stuff like act 6-8, incursions, AW, BGs and AQ etc it should work
At the start of the fight if you do get cornered I’d suggest using a heavy. If you already have a pierce buff then it’ll intimidate the enemy and make them dash back (likely) If you don’t have a pierce then at least it makes some space for you. It’s very hard to get the AI to dash back when you’re in the corner. Usually if you’re only wanting to hit into block then it’s because it’s a hazard shift node, but don’t worry about triggering 1 or 2 of the debuffs, it won’t KO you - but getting cornered and combod could
That will definitely be a risk with Valk, you just have to know when it’s safe to hit them a couple times to back them up Like, say it’s hazard shift, you can hit them a couple times and risk debuffs, since they won’t do too much damage. If you’re getting cornered, it’s worth taking the risk

Exactly what DrTaco said, her purification is great for a lot of places, but obviously since it’s not 100% it’s not reliable for stuns or really dangerous ones Great for heal blocks, Mr F debuffs, overseer debuffs, invisible woman debuffs, long distance relationship etc

It’s a personal thing really. I don’t particularly like heavy attacking since it gets rid of all my ramp up If I know the sp2 is gonna kill, you’re right, I should probably heavy attack a bit more. But also a lot of the time it just doesn’t fit in with what’s happening in the fight I’ll try and do it more though :)

She has a 90% damage to purify non damaging debuffs, and that scales with block proficiency. She doesn’t purify damaging debuffs though

I use the second method with Jabari panther to get parried intentionally
100%! You can use it for mr negative to gain light energy in questing too! Tons of different uses for it
