- Hello Skaters! Christmas is just a week away and that means it is time to submit your Christmas program videos, so that you can be included in my 4th annual Christmas day compilation next week! To be included, upload a video you skating all or part of this routine to your own UA-cam account. Please post it as public or unlisted, but not private. Then, in the comments below this video, post a link to your skating video! Everyone who posts a link to their skating video by 11:55pm pacific time on Thursday December 21st will be included in my Christmas Day Compilation! I would've love to do it but I just started skate a few weeks ago so I'm not good enough but if you do it again next year I think I'll try!
I am sad I wasn’t able to do it this year :(. Between very inconsistent skills due to back and knee issues, our club show, filming a virtual test (adult silver moves - I passed!), and then some really crowded sessions, it just didn’t happen. But I used the footwork in our winter show! Next year I’ll try again!
Here’s my submission! I wanted to do it all in one go but my favourite rink now doesn’t allow jumps during daytime public skate even when it’s quiet 😮. So I had to film in segments and then sneak in jumps at the end 😂And then connect the segments in order. Thank you, Coach Julia for planning this wonderful collaborative program for your viewers again. It’s my 3rd year doing this- so much fun! Have a very merry Christmas! I had a rough few months with illness and experienced vertigo where I could barely walk for a few weeks. I'm thankful I finally recovered and was able to get this filmed.
This is my first time ever skating an entire program from start to finish, so I am proud and had so much fun! Thanks for making it possible! 🙂

Merry Christmas Coach, It's hard for skaters to video themselves. I asked a skater what happened to her camera man because she's really good but no way to film herself... Christmas idea for your store, a camera holder that could go on the boards or on the ice w/o slipping..

I wanted to join this so badly but I dislocated my knee on the ice the other day 😬
I was literally going to film it tomorrow before my lesson. I have been practicing... And then yesterday I fractured my ankle and tore my ligaments so no skating for me for a few months now 😢

Since my rink is always crowded (between 100 and 500 people during public sessions), practicing has been difficult and filming almost impossible.😅Unfortunately my little garden pond didn't freeze over this year, so yesterday I decided to rent my rink and tried my best to get at least a few segments done. 😊 Merry Christmas!

I’m a new skater and it took everything I had to just do the footwork part you taught in your first video. Hopefully next year I can attempt the full choreography.
