Nah, that's CZW's thing. I like how AEW balances theatrics and ingenuity, though, to ensure the wrestlers safety but still make it look brutal.
You should see Moxley vs Omega Unsanctioned. It is now being under investigation for being too good.

If you want to see a BRUTAL MATCH. ECW had a match with Sabu vs. Terry Funk. A BarbWire match. Sabu sliced his arm open during the match, I have the DVD, you can see him take duct tape and wrap it around the gash. It was effing SICK. As it progressed it got worse with Sabu basically doing a flip onto Funk wrapped in Barb wire. They had to cut BOTH of them out. It was one of the bloodiest matches I ever saw.
I really liked the crowd they showed emotions and it made the match much more awesome

I mentioned this to another person. Sabu vs. Terry Funk, BarbWire match. Before WWE got their mits on it. It was one of if not the most brutal match I've seen. Sabu taped up a gash on his arm to keep fighting. It was deep AF. It wasn't meant to happen but Sabu kept going. It was NUTS.
Now that i think about if, sabu and abyss barbed wire match was quite gruesome too. Memories 😷😆

It’s hard to believe that I’ve been a fan for well over a year and a half. When he left WWE earlier this year, I followed him to AEW. He’s been my most favorite AEW wrestler ever since.
