Its not just that Darby kept kicking out, its that he kept having a dynamic recovery and stayed on an offensive until the end. Frequently down but never out was what they were showing us for Darby, and Cody played his part as the intelligent seasoned combatant to make it go the distance.
Pretty amazing to see him go from complete unknown to the guy who is going to main event AEW’s biggest show to date against CM Punk. I love pro wrestling.
