- Welcome to my honest review of the Awei Y669 31W Bluetooth speaker. This speaker has three speaker drivers, two 8 watt speakers in the front and one 15 watt speaker at the back. It definitely has bass, and good thing about this, it's cheaper than the JBL GO3!
It has a TWS feature which allows you to pair two of these and also a line in mode (auxiliary port).

After seen your review, I bought it yesterday, the quality of product is very satisfy compare with its reasonable price (27 usd).
Packaging is solid and look good.
Size is around 1 litre bottle.
Material is good and assemble is so strong, feel good when picking up.
Sound is good with great bass, so impressive.
BT Connecting with my phone is fast and can control sound volume.
So overall of Awei Y669 is good and value for money, recommend for beginner or budget users.

Nice review. Same with the unit I got. Channels are misplaced (will try to open and switch it if I got time). It is indeed a 2.1 speaker. Meaning It has dual speaker in front and a sub speaker at the back. Not the best out there. But hey a 2.1 Bluetooth speaker at this price. Bass is boomy and the loudness and clarity is super. Tweakable with any Equalizer apps. If your on a tight budget and you want a good run for your money. Get this.

@@nazarenopondoc7873 Na try ko na. Sobrang sticky ng passive radiator baka mapunit ko. Research ko muna kung paano alisin ng hindi sila madadamage. So never ko pa nakita yung pinaka loob.
Bro have you fixed the reversed channels? Mine has that defect as well. I kind of wish that someone would show how to fix it without compromising that unit's waterproofing capability.

Awei is an OLD BRAND but this Y-669 is their newest model, I bought my Awei Y-280 7 years ago and it is still running like a war tank reliability

I got this speaker the sound quality is Superb I feel like it sounded better than the JBL Charge 4 and Flip 5.

For Line-in, another way for it to be detected besides re inserting the cable is press the power button again.
Is the bluetooth range really 12 meters?
I had one and it’s good despite of its low price.
I realized that I use more of this then the JBL GO3.
@@TaylorSoloaiJR both jbl and awei are both good but in clarity jbl is lil bit more better than awei but not far from each other, awei Is really good in performance and it’s price, after I buy awei y669.. planning to buy a jbl charge 5
Oh yes, no doubt. I just preferred the longer playtime on the Awei Y669 even though the clarity is not so good but I just fix that with the Equalizer app. Maybe it ain't for everyone but definitely the price is great for most of it's performance.
@@TaylorSoloaiJR for me the clarity of y669 is good, you just need to adjust the equalizer thru your smart phone whatever the music genre is...it’s your preference bro and I respect it, clarity for me is 8 and bass
is 9 that’s my experience I trust my ears and my ears are my reference point that why y669 is a solid bts for me despite of its low price

hey brother do those two drivers placed opposite of single sub woofer do they even move or not becausse it feels like those are acting like tweeters

Only the woofer at the back moves not the front speaker drivers. They are mostly for mids and little bit of high frequency.
Will you do a teardown soon? I kinda wanna see if it's a mono since it mentions 2*5w and 1*15w and I don't really understand since it says 31w.

Its a stereo speaker, 2 x 8W speakers in the front and 1 x 15W speaker at the back. I think the one at the back is mono, it acts like a sub woofer.
Not sure if I will tear it down soon but if I get a lot of request then I will.

Speaker still works, I'll comment the song name layer cause I forgot. But if you cant wait. You can go through UA-cam's audio library (hip hop genre).

i’m a bit confused here in the page from where i’ve bought it it shows rms 5w*2+15 and the yellow book take it even further only 5w*2 no mention of 15w radiator at all only on the box we can see 8w*2+15w speakers could you explain why is that and what’s the actual spec you think it has? also i have right and left stereo at opposite directions my awei y200 produces more sound than this one despite having only two 5w drivers only the bass is not that big i think this speaker is overpriced
Looks like all the units have the audio channels on wrong side, the 15W speaker rating at the back I am not entirely convinced it is but all will be known when I do a teardown of the Awei Y669 speaker (coming soon).

Can't answer your question because I never had or heard the max sound plus in person.
I have both. Maxsound plus over awei.
it's a low budget best portable speaker and the sound quality is fine

You don't need a OTG, it already has dedicated port for USB and TF card (micro SD card).

How many watt chargers will I use?
Any will do but I prefer something low wattage so it doesn't heat up when charging. Yes, it will be slow charging but its better.
If its hard to press i mean the pr its sealed so awei is now chasing orher well known brands like sony and JBL
JBL speakers are air tight but I can still move the passive radiator easily ( referring to the JBL Xtreme).
So it depends on the quality of the rubber material the manufacturer uses as a PR.

Maybe it will but when you start to play it at loud volume with a lot bass then you might face problems
