Awesome video Tabs, I'm so behind on videos, however, I am in the process of catching up on your videos! Truly appreciate you!😆Hope you and the family are doing well!
I don't shy away from small sizes. Even if it's a smaller pool of people. It's still millions and millions of people, and it only takes one person to make a purchase. I recently picked up a size 24 Agolde. I had no idea they even made them so small. But they sold in 3 days. So, especially if it's a younger style. I figure there are lots of smaller high school kids out there.
Awesome sales, my friend! I wish the analytics were better, too! I sold a pair of men's Amiri jeans for $200, so that became the number 1 selling brand in my closet because nothing else sold for that much. Sheesh. And thanks again for the great sweater! It is definitely being worn now! 😁😁😁
I just sold a top that same color, it was a combination of two color actually and according to Lulu fanatics website it’s either Hazel Green/Moss Green 😊
I love the analytics portion of this. I believe the negotiation difference between the two countries is a factor of a) hourly min wage rate and, b) the lowest average price of goods among common items. So, when I watch american resellers, they can find items for 1 to 3 dollars very easily. In Ontario, that pricing, I can only find at yard sales. When I see that the price of a large coffee at Tim's is almost 2 bucks now, I use that as a bench mark to see what else I can buy for under 2 bucks. It's not much, if anything at all. Even the dollar store is now 3 to 5 bucks per item, with in reason. Here, our min wage is 16 dollars per hour, however, everything has increased dramatically with inflation. Ergo, the buying power of our individual dollar has decreased. I have not see the same reflection in buying power of the American dollar though what is posted in video from American resellers. I therefore attribute that buying power of the american dollar to a lower negotiation ask price, in comparison to the Canadian who is asking 10 to 15 dollars more in they're favour because of the percieved value difference. I know that is hard to follow. I sell alot of work pants and jeans. I watch American resellers at a Goodwill say jeans are at 10 or 12 bucks up from 7.50. Down the street at Talize they start jeans at 25 bucks. At Value Village it's 20 bucks. I believe that with having a high min wage rate here, the perception of retail, is that there is more money to go around, when infact that same purchasing power has decreased. I also believe that this is a down (or lean year) for spending by the individual becuase of inflation. I certainly see it at the plant for our nation wide shipper. Keep up the good work Tabs! You are inspiring as always.
Great sales Tab! I aspire to follow in your footsteps. I've only recently started reselling and have learned so much from you on this channel. I tend to focus more on vintage but sprinkle in more current items. I'll be looking for some of the brands you mentioned in this and previous videos. I do have a question about automation. I'm using the basic Posh Sidekick because of your recommendation and really like it. Would you mind sharing if you are using their Promoted listing feature and how you think it may help your sales on Poshmark?
I have been and I don’t have evidential proof that promotes worked directly to sell the item… I would say those items tend to sell. I do have a general high sell through rate in my closet, so it can be hard to determine what is the actual spark. I do believe promoted listings is fantastic for e positive on items with lots of likes!
Hey, thanks for the video it was great! Question for you, I noticed on your listings even if you have a stock picture you remove the background. Is that to help with google SEO or just personal preference?
For me personal preference❤️ I actually don’t mind original backgrounds on most stock photos, but I struggle to mix them in with my own🤣 so everything gets white for my lil Virgo mind🤣🤣
Great sales girl, I have contimplated selling from US to Canada. You said you had to set up your own shipping to cross the boarder to how does that work when you sell your items & they pay shipping. I'm kinda confused how that can work if you have to do a seperate shipping for you U.S. orders. Maybe I missed something along the way. My goal is to conitue to double inventory on listed items I will conitue to flush lower ASP items & add higher ASP for 3rd quarter. I do have to source online due to time for traveling to stores. I'd rather be listing more items than traveling to source so I source online. I'm currently flushing bad inventory from 1st starting out and adding better brand for higher ASP.
For the last 2weeks my sales just flopped, I was selling 3or4 items a day. I don’t know what’s going on with posh but I’m going to start on ebay to see how it goes.
Wow! The Bronx and Branco dress is stunning. You gave a really good discount (I'm surprised it didn't sell for more). This dress isn't my style, but they have other dresses that I'm obsessed with and are still so expensive even on Poshmark.
Hi Tabs so glad to hear your sales are going well. Slow for me number one reason I feel is not being able to find quality items. One tiny thrift here. Goodwill in Billings is 5.5 hrs away. Two questions for you how to find model photos and do you have a video on bundles and offers? Your store looks great. I’ve been selling for a yr this month and have had 1 bundle lol. I have lots to learn.
If you don’t have access to quality items, I would try sourcing online. I use google lens on an item to find a stock photo. Or searching style numbers from tags. I think it have a video on bundles in my tips and tricks playlist❤️
I have getting offers that are ridiculously low. It would be nice to get some decent offers. (US) like you are talking about. Thanks so much for sharing!
Watching your video and something popped in my mind. If you opened a bank account in the states for your US sales would you still lose $.35 on the dollar? Does that even make sense?
Lol. I know what you’re saying. But I would still lose the .35 when I put my money in to convert to usd to buy anything. When I sell in the us I gain .35 on every dollar which is great. But trying to buy in the states… kinda sucks
Amazing numbers! I have a question for you: have you had more than usual returns? I’ve been reselling for almost three years. For sure overall quality of my process has improved big time but past few days returns been way more than usual. Actually one customer really pissed me off, I accepted the return but told them they are one that are killing small businesses 😅
Re Canadian shipping. I would shop more on Poshmark if the shipping wasn't so high. I don't know why everything has to be shipped priority. I don't need the items in a day or two. Why can't Posh Canada allow regular post - ship at cost - it would be so much cheaper. I don't buy from ebay because you have no idea what the shipping cost will be. If the seller undersells they can just increase the shipping cost. Such a mess.
Shipping is definitely tough. I think it’s too hard to police ppl and the weights of the items so them negotiate one rate. As for eBay when you click on an item it should tell you your shipping charge to purchase
Great work! I have a VV question as I source there too. When using coupons from others, do you have to use their account. My partner signed up and forwards coupons he gets but do I have to log in as him on the checkout? I've been afraid to try it on my own.
@@TabsMcCaffrey didn’t fit, they are faded. I always have measurements. Plus I’m very picky when it comes to thrifting. It’s very frustrating. One customer returned shirts after almost a month. And it was a lot of 5 shirts. these are the same people that buy wine from Costco drink it all and return the butter saying it wasn’t good.
Awesome video Tabs, I'm so behind on videos, however, I am in the process of catching up on your videos! Truly appreciate you!😆Hope you and the family are doing well!
I’d call the lulu sweater chartreuse. One of my FAVE colours.
Ooooo yes, it was gorgeous. My size, would have kept for sure!

Totally agree!

Omg you followed me on posh while I was watching this!
😘 ✨✨✨
The color is called Citron

I’m going to do a video very soon on the details. They pay for posh shipping. And I pay to get my items into the us to usps

I’ve heard other sellers say eBay is picking up. I think 2 platforms is a good idea

It had a broken zipper pull. Still worked but I think that impacted the value for sure
Great sales, Tabs! Congrats! I had a great FB Marketplace sale today as well - a bundle of 7 books and a lot of chicken manure-lol! Woohoo!
Woohooo🤣🤣
I’m brand new at this. My goal is also to list, list, list!!
That’s a fantastic goal!!
Hi, como se puede vender en Canadá y estados unidos puedes hacer un video, muchas gracias nueva seguidora

What’s your take on Live shows ?
They dont work well with my cog and time allowance to work on my business every wk. but I do think they work for some.
Yup I don't think it's baby poop. I think it is Olive Green.😊
Haha oh gosh! Yes that would be a good colour tone🤣❤️

Nope you don’t!! You just put your number in. It works. I do t think the coupons are specific to one person
