- Hello! :D I'm so happy to see you on my channel! Thank you for watching! ♥ I have been trying to make a video with different beautiful fabrics and I kept remaking it, I couldn't decide what I liked better, which angle, whisper or soft voice etc. so I have decided to present you with both versions of the video. I know it might seem crazy but I just couldn't make up my mind on what works better and here are two versions of the same video for your liking. This video is soft spoken with up close demonstrations of textured fabrics, the other video is a whisper only video with a further angle of view of the fabrics. :) I hope you'll like at least one of them. 25:28-29:49- Sixth Fabric, red silk, with color changing flower prints, smoothing, tapping, folding (awkward! I made a fool out of myself lol)
29:50-34:38- Seventh Fabric, light, glistening, gentle smoothing, tracing.. Trace trace trace, scratch scratch scratch
34:39-end- Eighth Fabric, sooooft, smooth, fluffy, smoothing, gentle tapping, gentle slow movements, wave like softs sounds.... sleeeep :)

I found it immensely fascinating when you began to speak of your life in the USSR at around the 32:00 minute mark. Maybe if you feel comfortable you could do whisper story telling videos about your life in the USSR, why you left, what that was like, and other things. For some people these are deeply emotional and personal feeling, so I understand you may not want to talk about it, but just a suggestion. :) Would anyone else like to hear story telling videos like this?
I'm sure maria has a video posted of her story of how she got to the U.S. It's the lip smacking video from quite a while ago, the image is cherrys I think? And there is another video where Maria 'draws her life' which shows life in the USSR. I'm not a stalker I've just been watching Gentle Whispering ever since she started haha! Hope this helps x

I suffer from severe anxiety and a couple heart conditions and when I heard someone recommend your channel I wasn't sure what to expect. But I have to say I absolutely LOVE these! They relax me so much its amazing! Thank you so much for doing this :) you have already helped me so much!

Going to doctor today after anxious and scary week. Only slept two hours in the past 30 and this video was why. I'm using it to fall back asleep again now. When im scared and down and cant even sleep despite being tired your kindness and voice are like a safe haven and suddenly its ok. Love you Maria.
I've watched so many other Asmr people and no one comes close to you. You are the best! You are so natural, not awkward, very genuine, I can feel your heart and how you really do care about what you do and how you are helping people. Just awesome!
Simply beautiful, visually and aurally. I love how every movement and word is carefully carried out. I notice that some asmrtists can ramble a little too much and be a little too animated which can distract me from relaxing. I like how you speak slowly from the outset, leaving pauses and being very slow and deliberate.

So relaxing! I would love to see a fabric shop roll play. Visiting fabric stores with my grandma as I child was so relaxing. Listening and watching them measure, cut and the best of all fold the fabric was the BEST relaxation!!

Before I knew of ASMR, circa 1996, I would fall asleep to Bob Ross whom most people know but also Sister Wendy's BBC show where she talked about paintings. This particular video resembles that in way as you're talking about something visual - and one may say artistic as well.

MagnumDB same here. also the mark kistlers imagination station on pbs if anyone remembers that. another thing that would trigger me was the qvc home shopping channel. back then i thought everyone was susceptible to those tingles we now call asmr.
When I was little, my grandmother would softly trace shapes on my skin as I was drifting off to sleep for an afternoon nap. She'd hold me on the couch or in the rocking chair in her living room, and it was always soft and quiet except for the ticking from her wooden cuckoo clock. I always felt safe and snuggly. Thank you, Maria, for taking me back to that place again!

I've always been curious about ASMR props...do you buy them for videos and simply store them in your house then? Or buy and return? Or borrow from friends? It intrigues me haha
Thank you for uploading both, soft spoken is my favorite vocal AMSR trigger and it's hard to find videos that are relaxing yet still soft spoken. Your dedication to your channel and viewers is much appreciated, you're the first ASMRtist I found and pretty much the only one I watch (:

Biff People made a big deal about it b/c it was interesting. I've never looked at a photo & thought it looked a different color than the person sitting next to me (& then had the image change color before my eyes). I'm glad people are curious.

This is absolutely my favorite ASMR video of all time. I love to sew and I love fabric - I've been slowly growing my collection of fabric for about 12 years. Seeing all the different colors and textures and weights of these fabrics is the most relaxing thing I could possibly imagine.
I wish this was a *little* more soft spoken (nothing compares to your soft spoken voice), however, I realize that these are your videos and you can whisper if you want! :) Thank you so much for all that you do for us! You're a treasure!

Thank you SOOOOOOO much that you gave us both versions. I am one of the folks who likes whispering only in little amounts. If you whisper sometimes in your videos for a shorter timeframe I really like it. But the longer it gets the less is the special effect of yours. And after a long time of pure whispering it even starts to disturb me.
But with these soft spoken videos you re enchanting me EVERY time :) - thank you, thank you, thank you :))))

I swear if I close my eyes at the last five minutes or so, I can picture myself in a beach house, listening to the waves as you speak. And when you're using the seventh fabric, I feel like I am in the room with you and your mother/grandmother as she is sewing. You are the only asmrtist that I can listen to their soft speaking rather than whispers. Whispers are a lot more soothing to me but the tone and consistency of your voice melts my brain and I almost prefer your soft speaking over your whispers but I suppose it depends on my asmr mood! Lovely as always

I liked this angle and the hand movements better, but I love whisper. It calms me more than soft spoken. But still loved both videos! Thank you!

I love the sound of Maria's voice, but I love when the sounds that come with it are a little more obvious. Other than the really gritty, leather or plasticky fabrics, I can't hear many sounds in this on the smoother fabrics. I enjoy more of the crinkling, tapping kinds of sounds. Especially when nails are used!! Still another brilliant video though! Maria is my favorite by far.

I usually like soft spoken better but the angle of this one is hard for me to watch because of the major shadows and some of the glare caused by the light placement. So I've gotta go for the whisper one this time around. I also preferred that you are visible in the whisper one.
