Moto Guzzi V7 rear brake pad replacement when the rear tire is removed.

It is difficult to examine the degree of rear brake pad wear on the Guzzi because several components block the view. But when you are replacing the rear tire, it is not only easy to see the degree of wear, but equally simple to replace the pads if needed. So always check the rear pads whenever you drop the wheel and be prepared to replace them if needed.
