Just realized that the Decker clone said that Diablo was going to last for 6 seasons and the actual show ended on its sixth season.
Fun fact.....The scenes in the writers room were filmed in the actual writers room
It's amazing how this show about a devil solving crimes develops in a profound conversation about free will versus determinism.
I think this is the reason why this show is so unique, and let me tell you will be surprised again by the storyline.
I think the same topic is in Loki with the timeline. The timeline isn't a string... It's more of a tube. You have the ability to move around a little bit here and there, but ultimately walk the same path laid out for you as long as you stick within the confines of that planned timeline. If you stray too far, you become a variant.

Trivia: in the original pilot of Lucifer, Chloe's character's last name was Dancer, but they changed it to Decker before the release.
And Dan was Hispanic(different actor)

- about that "your mom told you over one year ago" let's not forget Chloe believed that Charlotte Richards was Lucifer's step-mother and as she died at the end of season 3, for her it was really over one year ago.
- about the twin thing - You will understand why the twin concept as you proceed in this season; it is to mainly establish how opposite they are, it is intentional and not a trope as you go ahead.
In the comics Michael and Lucifer are twins, but not identical. I believe they did the identical thing here to keep Chloe and Lucifer apart for as long as possible without sidelining Tom Ellis in the process.
Maze's reaction the Blaze was exactly like Toph from ATLA when they go to see that play lmao
If Lieutenant Diablo's version of Maze is Blaze, it would make her name Blazikeen, which is hilariously close to Blaziken. She's a big chicken I guess :D

in the dc comics this show is loosely adapted from, Lucifer is actually the one to bear an iconic scar across his face. he gets it from Mazikeen and she tells him if he ever heals it (which he could do at any time) it would be a sign of weakness
Swear to god that like Eric Animaniacs practically programmed me to start singing the first couple of lines from their theme song whenever I see the WB Water Tower.
Also I freaking love how this show managed to just ever so slightly break the fourth wall with Lieutenant Diablo. No other show could get away with a story like that without you rolling your eyes at it. And I loved Maze’s reaction to herself in the show.

I’ve met them both and they’re wonderful and incredibly funny. They’ve come to a con more than once in the UK. Met staff writer Mike Costa last year too, who came along, but wasn’t even an official guest. He still took pictures and signed autographs.

Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich are the showrunners for Lucifer. The show runner that was killed looks a little like Joe and the second in commands name came from a writer in earlier seasons, Sherri Elwood. Also “the writers room” in Diablo was actually the real Lucifer writers room

When Lucifer was going through the same gift issue, I came to the conclusion that the gift isn't Chloe, herself, it's her immunity to him. She made him vulnerable because he wanted to be vulnerable around her, or rather with her. The gift is she sees him for him, and not because his ability to sleep with anyone because of his ability to drag out or reflect people's desires. To Chloe, Lucifer is just... Lucifer. Warts and all. And that's the true gift... being seen and loved for you, and not what people project onto you.

Maze is upset with Lucifer ,not that she couldn't figure out a way to get to hell...she desired that Lucifer WANTED her to be in hell with him.
Even though I adore Lucifer never liked his behaviour towards Maze ( hence the motive she always betrays him)
But she admits in this episode that he wasn't the one she was mad at. And she was mad at him about Lilith and

ends up taking Michael's side, someone who ends up killing Dan & Chloe and fights Amenediel , when he really tried to help her and made her feel better. I don't agree a lot with Maze's actions but after the show's end I really wish we had seen more of their relationship and more of their storylines tied in together
Maze is feeling abandoned and Lucifer is the easiest choice to take out her frustrations on. It's more about Eve not wanting to stay for her, as well as her preexistent abandonment issues with her mother. Then, with Lucifer going to Hell and not inviting her to accompany him, she felt abandoned by him too, who'd been a constant in her life.
Imagine if Lucifer actually ended in space...........

16:05. Where I live, there are too many people that don't like to do their own thinking, despite the number of "Free Will" signs in front of some Baptist churches. These guys watched it late and they're behind. That's what happens when your late to the party😂But other than that though, I love their reactions. I've been waiting for this one and I can't wait till they react to 5x15&5x16. They're not prepared 😭
