Great video! How do you recommend cleaning the bottom since it obviously can’t be laid on a flat surface? Also, mine (first handpan) came with a rubber rim. Should I keep that rim cover (rim or cover?) or get a woven one? Is one better than the other? And… is that rim cover/protector easy to remove? I’m brand new to this, so thank you for your patience with all of my questions.
When we flip our instrument to oil the bottom shell should we put it on some soft surface? Or stand? I have heard it should not be put upside down and rest on a ding because it might detune it in a long run. Is it a problem or for a short time of cleaning it is OK?
Thanks for that great tutorial video ! Really helpful ! How about the inside of the handpan ? Do we have to wipe it with alcohol and then oil as well ? Cheers !
Bro i played on the beach. Salty wind make my pan very rusty dark orange color. So i use a sand paper. And now my pan sounds like shit 😢😅 should i trow it away or its fixable ???😊
Merci d'avance
Temporary discoloration can happen but it should get dark again after you apply the oil. Of course, always refer to maintenance instructions from the maker of your specific instrument as materials vary from one brand to the next.
had so much fun watching this
Hi guys very good tips, thanks :)

You know, I"m not sure. It just arrived today. It wasn't one of the expensive ones though. I'm just a beginner. @@MasterTheHandpan
