Sorry ***** just saw this comment. I was too busy celebrating Independence Day with all my friends and family. Whom all have college educations. Your little opinion may get a few upvotes on the internet, but all 318.9 million Americans beg to differ.
I hear this every day, it’s actually kind of neat to hear. We have a red tailed hawk family that just moved back into their nest they used last year in our huge pin oak tree.
I love this sound so much. ♡ I live in a region of Southern California where Red-tailed Hawks are so abundant that they've been incorporated into our city logo. I see and hear them soaring over the hill behind my house all the time. I love it.
Let us just get over the fact that this long majestic scream belongs to the red tailed hawk, and not the bald eagle. The bald eagle has its own majestic sound. Which is the chirpish sound
That little delay adds perfect comedic timing! I can’t stop watching XD God I love birds. And Hawks especially always look like they’re about to fight someone with how they hold their wings lol. Love it!!!
Keck, this falconer loves his hawk. How about researching falconry, you would learn that this man loves his bird, but ultimately respects it. Raptors are very easily trained as a PARTNER not a pet.
i LOVE these birds!! I have a bonded pair (like all or at least most raptors, they mate for life) that have a nest across the road from me. I have a little over 8 acres. about half is livable property. house, barn, garage, and then about a thousand feet up the road is the mobile home my parents bought for me and my husband when we got married. a building and another garage. then the rest is Field area. my parents, my husband and my baby cat I had for 22 years (we didn't have kids, she was it) have all gone to the nest realm. it's just me now. no I'm not old I'm early 40s. my husband had CB Radio equipment and has 2 huge towers up at the mobile home. one has beams and the other has a Maco 5000 antenna. I'm going somewhere with this lol well there's about a thousand feet in-between. the female which is huge!! yea Hawks are big birds but she is probably bigger than most. I really think she came from up North and just stayed here. the colder it gets in the area the bigger they are. same with Eagles. well she sits on a building that's behind my house just inside the field area. the male sits up on the Maco 5000 antenna. anything with fur in-between there don't make it there was a stray cat hanging around my house. some low life probably dropped him off. I was feeding him and trying to get him inside because I KNEW!! one day I was in the kitchen which is at the back of the house, and I heard a commotion from Hell in the back yard and a shadow came through the back door glass that looked like a helicopter coming in on me the way the sun reflected I realized it was the female hawk and she was after the cat. maybe I didn't see it because I didn't want to. but needless to say I never saw the cat anymore after that 😢 I LOVE to hear them but they're actually pretty quiet in the wild. or at least this pair is. Ive saw them countless times. I've saw the female sitting on the building and it doesn't look like she's doing anything. then she will dive to the ground even with it being grown up and up she comes with a mouse in her talons I've only heard them maybe three times. one evening I had made a store run late one evening. it wasn't dark but was heading that direction. I pulled in my driveway, opened my truck door and heard a hawk. she was flying right over me heading towards the nest with a mouse in her talons. I would have loved to record but I wasn't fast enough. no doubt she was heading to the nest of babies and was letting her mate know she was otw sorry for the book 😂 but I could talk about Hawks and Eagles all day
