The new kid... Connor Zilisch... is incredible! He drove smart, dominated in the midst of some top drivers and earned that win!
And it didn't matter that they put him at the back of the field with 30-some-odd laps to go; that kid was smooth & did whatever he had to do ... wow ... !!!

@@zackr1896 & @CS-zo7wx ... I worked dirt tracks & a few CORE tracks, but I've not seen such outstanding talent without them being overly risky, but this kid is at another level. I can't help but feel privileged to watch his progress.

cars like this are fun to watch on road courses, that is also why Aussie Supercar races are amazing.

SVG, Allmendinger, Creed, Smith had one wild last lap. The 16's car was all over the map.
the end of race/overtime was a literal demolition derby who knows the Cup Series later on today might literally 100%% will be/going to be a carbon copy of the Xfinity Series race

That rookie won the Arca race Friday and won his first debut in the Xfinity Series! That says something about this kid! Not every newbie can overcome so much challenge and controversy to drive like a veteran to their first victory! A job well done! 😃
What a fantastic race! I am so, so very glad the winner didn't get screwed out of that by all the overtimes at the end.

That's literally 2 weeks in a row they've done that. I noticed it as well
Despite all who pitted an 11 second lead in stage one. Drove up too 3rd in stage 2 and ultimately won the race. This kid is the real deal.
Plus he had to restart I. The back because he followed Ty Gibbs off the track

Does anyone at NBC sports actually watch nascar or even watch the highlights they put together? One second your in the middle of an intense race and the next your on a caution lap with 5 different leaders and no explanation of how you got there. Also you double replay the white flag twice at the end.
Crazy ending and 88 blew them out of the water. Impressive considering who he beat.
As a dedicated F1 fan, I say this type of NASCAR is darn enjoyable to watch! Obviously Im struggling loving the ovals, but these regular racing track is just awesome!

Lagano in Deegans ride once again proves the 15 Team fails to bring a car to the track! Spent most the race in deep 30's and avoided wrecks to squeeze out a decent finish. Seems Deegan wasn't the problem!

Yes but it was their 2nd top ten all year both by Logano.
Yes she wasn't entirely the problem but she was still part of the blame for why the team was bad. It's more the team then her other then Logano's 2 top 10.
The 15 never was never the issue, the issue was always the driver.While yes Logano who finished top 10 in 2/3 races in the car and Berry who’s also a Cup driver qualified top 10, Lawless Alan managed to score more stage points in the 15 in his debut than Deegan did in 17 starts and in addition to the stage points at Michigan, Lawless Alan was contending for the win at Atlanta and at the very least was going to finish top 5 before Sammy Smith shoved him a bit too hard and he got loose only to save the car but fall back to 13th, which was only 1 spot worse than Deegan’s best finish in the car.
Trackhouse has done it again. Producing another potential phenom of a driver.
They did not "produce" him....they signed him. Connor has been racing for 10 years. He was so good in karts he was one of the only American juniors to race for factory European team at age 12,13,14..... on their nickel. He dominated the FIA Karting Academy Trophy in 2020. It is a 3 race series....he won race 1 and 2, and wrapped up the title before the 3rd race. NO ONE has ever dominated like he did.

Well, the mission is over for USA / NBC Universal, what a good 9 years they had, and now it's the CW's turn to make the Xfinity Series more exciting for the mid 2020's starting not just next year, but with the remaining 8 races, starting with Bristol next Friday. If that's not the ULTIMATE dress rehearsal for '25 then I don't know what is....well, TNT's coming back and Amazon's Prime Video is ready for the summer stretch next year which they'll share the 10 races in-between Somona Raceway and Darlington. What a race, what a Mission ( 200 at the Glen )...CW.... you're IT!

Such a great track, but I really wish NASCAR would start to enforce track limits to make the racing better. SVJ and Dinger were putting on a show. Shame people just pushed them out of the way.

And not just win them...but dominate them. 2020 FIA Karting Academy Trophy winner. It is a 3 race mini series.....he WON race 1 and race 2. He won the title before even starting race 3. The only reason I don’t care that much about road course in nascar is because there’s not much of a fight up front.
Yes, there has been some good finishes but for the most part, it’s not that exciting at the end 🤷🏽♂️just my opinion people…..relax if you like nascar road course 😊
These overtime restarts are getting ridiculous. Good runs more often than not get wiped away with restart madness. Not saying I want things to end under yellow. But I believe one attempt at a green flag finish is enough.
That was a lame call regarding the inner loop. They were under yellow and it wasn't a matter of track safety.

What is the point of having a race track or "road" if the cars don't drive on it ? Most other forms of road racing have penalties for driving over the curbs, and exceeding the track limits !
