But financially, your leadership skills, experience, basically any and everything you need to be responsible for a family is obtained in your early 30s and 40s as a man. While the things men seek in a woman are typically there in her 20s. Men and women are different and seek different things in life. It seems to me like the brotha is looking at it from a female perspective. Through out history, and in every culture, husbands have always been older than wives. Hence the term bride and groom. A man is supposed to groom his wife. He is the leader.
