This thing is absolutely gorgeous, my first game was 3600xp with 13 citadels, but I wouldn't say its over powered due to the shocking turret traverse and relatively low hp for what it is. I don't have the highest level commanders so instead I use the range mod and an accuracy build to buff the turret traverse and get some god - like accuracy. Nice game and I'm sure you meta and chilli will get this thing nerfed in no time
Played a few Smäland games this morning, and am glad to hear I'm not losing my mind (zooming in / aiming bug). Haven't finished the Riga grind - I've got about 50k XP to go so I enjoyed this vid. Cheers!

Riga but the guns work all the time, if only we had more cruisers at tier 8, Petro would be OP, though she did get the République treatment stats wise, still, i was looking forward to get her and i'm clearly not disapointed
Alaska has a 8900 Max AP value (without some modifiers) 9 guns * 8900 = 80100. Yamato base HP is 90K, so no you did not full health one but you may have dev struck a near full health one as I have done in the past
Raised citadel and only 25mm of bow armor (with a small icebreaker). The only redeeming factor on the Petro is the guns. If you are the center of attention or you get caught, you can kiss your ass goodbye. Positioning is KEY (like you said lol) and not being the center of attention is vital. I will not be picking up this ship anytime soon, but maybe someday if I feel communist :D

A major improvement on riga a bit squishy imo, first encounter with one i was testing brawler Lepanto full 9.8km secondary build she chunked the crap out of me at almost any angle but the monsoon of SAP prevailed
If i remember correctly to what Blip said in the update stream about Petro's guns is that they gave it 1.85 sigma, AP arming threshold of 37mm (abit of more overpens compared to PC), longer reload than PC but the AP penetration capabilities are basically the same as PC petro They nerfed the Petro's overall armor compared to PC too i believe cant remember what else they changed
6:04 Petro on PC has Improved Pen angles on her AP (id imagine that the Legends Petro would also have them as well since it has the same Shell speed and fuse time) so it can allow you to get Citadel on ships that are angled
Love the solo game play, it’s great. I’m excited to play this boat. I don’t think setting a cruiser up to be agile makes you a great player. VII Hipper is a good player however. He makes a point win rates matter in divisions per Wargaming stats.
Saying you didn't win because of a division is a poor excuse, a lot of people like to make excuses. Results speak for themselves; if you watch you see the difference

I sold pommern which is a bad idea but it's accuracy and secondaries are so bad and the maneuverability is horrible that I sold it.

From the games I've played today, petro consistently incaps/breaks battleship guns(even yamato and kurfurst).
