Hi, A A Roon! 😂 Thanks for the great video and hope to see some more with Roon. 👍 She was my first T8 TT ship and still is one of my favourites. I never understood all this Roon bashing when she appeared in the game. I guess many people don't know how to play this ship and expected some kind of YOLO Hipper 2.0. In fact it is more like Elbing's big brother. 😉 The 15k salvo was great. You really should give Augustin Riegerwald a try and you'll become the nightmare of every broadside battleship.

Well we all now how powerful german cruisers are do we. Powerful AP, Dangerous HE, (Some powercrept torpedoes) great health and armour. All around great ship.
i like this ship very much. high DPM potential, good tanker if needed and torpedoes. even after 60 battles and many new t8 ships my favorite in the tier
This thing can do some work but I think it really sucks. It might be my play style that keeps me from liking it more. I guess its good for kiting..... you can play it like Yorck
I sold this ship didn't like it very much also needed money for petro at the time I wish it had 360 degree turrets in the back then I think I would have liked it more but I may get it back in the future gg aaron nice video
One of my biggest issues with roon is that they really fumbled her consumable layout in legends. On PC she always had an increased number of repair parties compared to other cruisers, which also gave her higher sustain. But instead of that, we got one with 5 catapult fighters, one of the most useless consumables in the game, in my opinion. I hardly ever find them shooting down carrier planes because of how wargaming set their mechanics. their really only use at tier 8 is spotting ships over islands, since you don't see carriers that often at the tier. I would much rather have an extra repair party over 2 extra catapult fighters.
People probably give community contributors extra attention in game because most videos we see have said community contributors scoring 100's of thousands in damage therefore making them a major threat and high priority target. I'll be gunning for you A aron.
IMHO, Hipper is way better at tier VII than Roon is at tier VIII, mostly due to better torps and more frontal fire to play as a proper brawler. How would Hindemburg look like, a Legendary Hipper or a Legendary Roon?
Think a hipper with 12 guns and 16 torpedos. She can get the usual funky citadels that German cruisers sometimes take. But she does have the good armour still.
buffalo also has better AP and HE DMP better turning over all better concealment and a radar sorry but Roon Ass when you compare it to a good tier 8 crusier@@whereruaaron
On the topic of tier 8 german ships i wish FDG didnt suck a-hole so much, compared to bismarck it has worse main battery accuracy with the same number of guns (it has 1.8 while bismarck has 1.95, like bruh), a significant worse damage con by 7 seconds (8 compared to bismarcks 15), worse sonar duration by 36 seconds (it having 6km sonar range isnt a good excuse for 60 seconds duration), a technically worse main armour belt and slighty higher citadel and do add insult to injury, worse range on its secondaries. These are the reasons i call it a fattened, lethargic and crude version of bismarck
