Mwuesse Not at all. There are a wide variety of factors that go into games-- the worst deck ever in history could go 12-0 off of 12 consecutive disconnects
It's not so much that the tier score isn't very good as much as the tier score is measuring only one aspect of the deck. Skill, synergy, and of course luck are also important, and the tier score doesn't measure that.
Infinity Sparks agreed but the fact it doesn't take synergy into consideration is what makes it bad. Ive had the same experiences as kripp where I've had insane mage decks by tier score not actually do very well yet have had went 6-3 with a 60 druid deck and 9-3 with a 61 rogue deck. its not just the synergy it doesn't account for but rather the overall balance of the deck. you can have all the board clears and premium spells but without the minions to back it up your deck can really suffer.
I said 3 days ago. Numbers are bullshit, or like Han Solo like to say,: " Never tell me the odds". SPOILERINO: He did 8 Wins with worst deck ever drafted, and 4 wins with the best.
I can't believe Kripp thinks this is the worst deck he's drafted, it has a curve, it has synergy and some good cards and it's better than most of my decks... Agreed
17:36 "Most of the cards that stand out get nerfed and never stand out again. The one exception to that is actually Leeroy." -Kripp 2016 He later admits that this was also the case with Auctioneer, BUT HE FORGOT ABOUT CHARRRRRGE.
HashtagOctothorpe Seems kinda weird though since we just had a new expansion come out two weeks ago so wouldn't Arena power lever already be higher than his last "worst draft"?
When I hear you talk about RNG draws in Hearthstone and tons of its bullshit, I remember Gwent and feel good. You really should try it, it's one of the most skill-based card games out there now I think.
60.1? Jeez, the lowest one I've ever drafted was 61.8. It was a Priest deck right after GvG came out, and somehow I managed a 5-3 out of it... then got a 2-3 on a 68.9 Paladin right after. Arena is weird.
13:29 I do keep consecration against warlocks and pally in arena thoug, most of the time. And I do ok, but guess it's easy to argue is not the best mulligan.
Ideas for the mechanic mentioned in the video 1 mana 4/5 battlecry reduce the cost of the next card your opponent plays by 2. 4 mana 9/9 battlecry reduce the cost of the next card your opponent plays by 3. 7 mana 15/15 battlecry the next card your opponent plays costs (0).
ive been thinking blizzard pairs you with other people who drafted similar card quality. I've had amazing dr boom / reno decks go 4-3 then had a deck i literally wanted to redraft right after making it go 12-1
LOL, it doesn't even say "Worst deck" in the title, yet somehow you were quoting "worst deck". Maybe you should get some glasses. You're just correcting yourself in that second comment lmao.
"Turn one draw a card, turn two draw a card, turn three draw a card. This guy is so fucking lucky he can draw cards every turn! I never draw cards. I am the unluckiest person ever. Waaaaaaah. Waaaah." -Kripp
Nathan Ritscherle he meant 15/16, there was a 1 in 16 that he drew flamestrike (assuming he only had one and didn't have something else impactful like deathwing etc etc
How does he see the ranks of the cards during the draft and the tips? Is it an option in the DeckTracker? Or another program? And how does he see the average score of his arena decks at the end of the draft?
Okay, can anyone explain how a person drawing flamestrike on the 4th turn he needed it is a topdeck. I mean that is like having to deal with a big minion and after 4 turn finally drawing your polymorph, is that a topdeck?
If you like hearing about how good content you make, I can honestly say, that you are the most professional game streamer I've ever seen. Love your content.
i think the arena score is widely off the mark there the deck is not amazing obviously but pretty much average for what you would expect in the arena. actually quite a bit of synergy too
For fuck sake, the only thing this highlights is that nothing matters anymore in RNGstone. Worst deck ever? Get 10 wins anyway. Best deck ever? Get shit on and go 4-3. Skilled player? Who cares, here's some more dicerolls and swing cards that can literally decide games on their own.
0:04 - [Talkerino]
1:58 - I expected a little better...
4:05 - one tough Jaina
11:56 - going first and tempo
17:09 - a good result
No Reno, yep.
Richerino Kripperino you don't have long for this world I'm 'fraid son
Richerino Kripperino you could of atleast tried to photoshop kripps face onto reno you lazy bum
KittyRabi look closer ya blind bum
Yeah bum, your photoshop skillz is terrible, now can somebody play me so we'll truly knows what RNG feels like.
+Mayorino Noggenfoggenerio Kripperino I play u and ur actually viable
His "worst" deck is my usual deck on regular basis. Who's never lucky now?
Abuyin ibn Djadir Me
I know how you feel dude. I don't even use heartharena anymore.
Either youre really unlucky or youre really bad
Abuyin ibn Djadir same, man
This deck did exactly as well as Kripp's best deck ever...that says somethin right there.
Mathmachine all it says is the tier score used by heartharena isn't very good.
Mwuesse Not at all. There are a wide variety of factors that go into games-- the worst deck ever in history could go 12-0 off of 12 consecutive disconnects
The only factor that is important is that luck had nothing to do with it. Only that Kripp is the best and has to deal with opponents luck
SPOILERINO:
He did 8 Wins with worst deck ever drafted, and 4 wins with the best.
That kind of mentality is how you lose though. I know, I feel the same way.
Two days later: "My worst Arena deck 'EVER'"
Constructed arena triggers me
"I'll Likely Never Draft A Worse Deck"
Goes 8-3.
That's normally called player skill.
Skill in hearthstone my ass
+1 to the guy above me
moral of the story:
Draft fast cheap shit and zerg your opponent down, regardless of card quality.
He doesnt mean its the worst deck ever. He's just saying it has the lowest point value given to it by hearth arena.
1:58
Skipperino Kripperino Heyyy, thats pretty good.
evidence that kripp IS skipp.
PhooeyHuey It would make sense actually. "Hey guys, I've been trolling you, enjoy the clip and I'll see you tomorrow tomorrow."
Skipperino Kripperino Yeah
Skipperino Kripperino You suck I can still see kripperino
[Хартстоун] Я, скорее всего, никогда не соберу худшей колоды
Worst Deck Ever yet he gets 12-2
Zombie_Man u tricked me
"Worst deck"
For me it's my average cards presented to me.
I can't believe Kripp thinks this is the worst deck he's drafted, it has a curve, it has synergy and some good cards and it's better than most of my decks...
Agreed
17:36 "Most of the cards that stand out get nerfed and never stand out again. The one exception to that is actually Leeroy." -Kripp 2016

Kripp is one of the last youtubers who doesn't clickbait
good job kripp keep it up
0:04
pls no
jesus
Has science gone too far?
ever considered drafting the worst deck of all times on purpose, just for shits and giggles?
Sir Mutantenkraken that would actually be worth a watch.
I would watch that.
*chat* draft arena
If fun challenges are what you want, you came to the wrong Hearthstone channel honestly.
and where can i go if i want those? is there a wild player? i'm searching for that shit for ages
tomorrows video....arena..the weekend videos....arena.....what kripps breath?......arena
Btw, I drafted a 58.5 deck last week. And it was one of my ~10 arena runs this year.So screw you, "never lucky" type a guy...
"Tied for second worst deck" Title of video is click bait then? No?
The title doesn't refer to any of the past decks he's drafted.
Jordan Shirley - No? It says he'll likely never draft a deck worse than this one in the future, not that this is the worst deck he's drafted.
He says that the quality of Arena decks goes up over time, so it's entirely possible that he'll never draft a deck worse than this one going forward.
HashtagOctothorpe Seems kinda weird though since we just had a new expansion come out two weeks ago so wouldn't Arena power lever already be higher than his last "worst draft"?
My bad, misunderstood the tense he used.
holy fuck the bird on his forehead
He Richard lawlz
That play at 14:20, I was like *moan* perfect board clear. Lol
Can't wait to see clips of this on saltiest kripp compilations.
yeah, now we need a Worsterino Kripperino, I feel like Kripp's gettin himself into memes on his own...
"If you think those aren't good odds you're welcome to beat me in arena"
~Kripp 2016
I feel like he makes this same video once a week...
Daniel McLaughlin are you sure you didn't watch the stream?
Looks like a typical areana deck I draft to me...
best deck ever, wins 4 times.
worst deck ever, wins 8 times.
Kripp ya should draft bad decks. ya seem to be good at playing with trash :D
Viktor Vikeyev ya man ya for sure ya yayaya
Have a Merry Xmas, Kripp! Looking forward to another year of great vids.
When I hear you talk about RNG draws in Hearthstone and tons of its bullshit, I remember Gwent and feel good. You really should try it, it's one of the most skill-based card games out there now I think.
is anyone gonna talk about how kripp will have 1 ad at the end of the video?
Good Guy Krip
SKIPP THE KRIPP 1:59
Yep, aggression can just win you games in arena, I'll never forget that hunter deck trump drafted with murloc tinyfin that went 12/0
I still see Kripp sitting under his table just talking to the camera
8:57 "Top deck flamestrike" lol like he wasn't waiting for it 3 turns
"I'll likely never draft a worse deck" just wait until the chat draft PogChamp
60.1? Jeez, the lowest one I've ever drafted was 61.8. It was a Priest deck right after GvG came out, and somehow I managed a 5-3 out of it... then got a 2-3 on a 68.9 Paladin right after. Arena is weird.
Emily Plays ive had a 58.
"Hey guys hows it goin? Christmas here"
Yaaay, a monthly "worst deck ever" video! ResidentSleeper
17:50 If you count her as a 'problem', which she slightly has been at points imo, he's forgetting Sylvanas.
Luka Saracen also "charge" and "unleash the hounds" which are some of the few cards to have been nerfed/changed multiple times and were still played
That first game.. reminds me of Murphy's Laws.
"Almost impossible" - the gods of RNG see this as a challenge. You have marked yourself.
13:29 I do keep consecration against warlocks and pally in arena thoug, most of the time. And I do ok, but guess it's easy to argue is not the best mulligan.
i would like to see kripp do an arena where he only pic the worst cards with the hearth arena stats
what addon or program do u use to see the card score when create an arena deck???
That reminds of how I won multiple games with a deck that had half of it auto-completed
Ideas for the mechanic mentioned in the video
1 mana 4/5 battlecry reduce the cost of the next card your opponent plays by 2.
4 mana 9/9 battlecry reduce the cost of the next card your opponent plays by 3.
7 mana 15/15 battlecry the next card your opponent plays costs (0).
ive been thinking blizzard pairs you with other people who drafted similar card quality. I've had amazing dr boom / reno decks go 4-3 then had a deck i literally wanted to redraft right after making it go 12-1
I like of how his BEST DECK went 4 wins, and he went double the wins with his worse deck. What the fuck.
1:16 chance? Or if he had 2 flame strikes 1:8 chance, or additional blizzard. 1:5 chance.
'Worst' deck Kripp ever drafts ✔
Average deck for everybody else ✔
what is the program he uses called???? the one that ranks the cards
ok thanks
4:06
Ok UA-cam... Why the fuck did I just get an AD for "The Boss Baby" ... in freakin' DANISH!
Next weeks video: I SWEAR, THIS DECK, THIS IS LIKE A 32 ARENA SCORE. 9 DUST DEVILS AND I'M PLAYING ROGUE
"Yeah that deck is really bad." Goes 8-3 with it. When I have a bad deck, I go 0-3... god damn...
Tends to happen when you pick slow cards.
17:25 how is Dr Boom not the answer?
I love it how literally everyone who wins against Kripp in arena, no matter the reason always plays a constructed deck versus his shittiest deck ever
What's the bar that pops up above the three cards when creating the deck? I don't have it when I'm starting a new Arena round
''Worst deck''
*Gets 8 wins*
Must be annoying that selective hearing. He's talking about heartharena score, then says the deck performed well anyway.
Must be annoying that selective sight. I'm talking about the title, which states that this is a horrific deck.
LOL, it doesn't even say "Worst deck" in the title, yet somehow you were quoting "worst deck". Maybe you should get some glasses. You're just correcting yourself in that second comment lmao.
I'll likely never draft a worse deck means its his worst deck, in other words. You seem very triggered btw.
Also, the top comment right now also quotes the same thing. Aren't you gonna attack him too?
Well its pretty clean at least !
Edit : kripp got me in the arena pack so best arena ever .
"Turn one draw a card, turn two draw a card, turn three draw a card. This guy is so fucking lucky he can draw cards every turn! I never draw cards. I am the unluckiest person ever. Waaaaaaah. Waaaah." -Kripp
And here I am, drafting 10 decks sub 60...
Sylvannas. Went from the best 5 drop in the game to the best 6 drop in the game and is still considered the best all around legendary.
"I will take a 1 in 16 chance to win instantly?"
Really?
"1 / 16 = good odds" kripp 2016
Are you even mathing?
Hes obviously talking about 1/16 against him
Nathan Ritscherle he meant 15/16, there was a 1 in 16 that he drew flamestrike (assuming he only had one and didn't have something else impactful like deathwing etc etc
I know that. I was making a joke.
Thanks for explaining it bruh XDDD
8 and 3 with a bad deck seems pretty good, but what do I know, maybe it is also how one plays the cards in addition to the quality
i drafted 62 pts mage deck few hours ago. i was so disapointed that i imidiatly closed the game. no more HS for today.
lol, this is literally every deck I get offered in arena
No Kazakus? No potions men
I mean... I drafted a 58 point druid during KOTFT... it hurt so much
This is how most decks i draft look like.
lipo lp hesky česky i think thats because we are Czech
Is the deck score the average of what the programm shows for each one?
To fix the 1st player advantage problem in arena, how about giving player 2 a second coin on turn four or five?
I love how a 60 point deck still does better than Amaz's 3 legendary decks
The first game features the biggest scumbag mage I’ve ever seen. That guy top decked EVERYTHING that he needed turn after turn
How does he see the ranks of the cards during the draft and the tips? Is it an option in the DeckTracker? Or another program?
And how does he see the average score of his arena decks at the end of the draft?
larryu1997 HearthArena overwolf
Thank you :)
Okay, can anyone explain how a person drawing flamestrike on the 4th turn he needed it is a topdeck. I mean that is like having to deal with a big minion and after 4 turn finally drawing your polymorph, is that a topdeck?
kripp went 4 wins with best 76 point deck and 8 wins with 60 point deck
Just because you got a deck with no Nzoth doesn't mean its a bad deck smh.
What deck tracking/arena suggestion program is that?
Draft a deck, but choose the worst option every time. I'd expect 9-3.
10:00 Did kripp seriously just unironically say 1v1 me irl to fucking twitch chat
* in arena ;)
He specified in arena, because with those wimpy arms he know he couldn't challenge 90% of the male population
in your opinion what is the lowest score u can draft if u pick Always the wrost card?
If you like hearing about how good content you make, I can honestly say, that you are the most professional game streamer I've ever seen. Love your content.
Do a draft where you only pick the worst cards.
i think the arena score is widely off the mark there the deck is not amazing obviously but pretty much average for what you would expect in the arena. actually quite a bit of synergy too
I can think of a worse deck. That deck you drafted for your "Best ever arena deck" video. Only got 4 wins, right?
DisturbedNeo He refers to his worst scored deck.
What does he use to rate his cards in arena like how the ratings show up in the bottom right hand corner?
Which program is the one that shows the quality of the letter ?
It's funny and sad, because I feel right now a 20 mana Molten Giant would not be overpowered, but they already nerfed it and it's never coming back...
My balance meter says otherwise, how can it be the second worst deck if you got to 8-3?
Probably because, if it doesnt hit 12 wins for Kripp, it is considered shit no matter what
Woah, thank you for answering my own question!
No prob dude :)
this tier score business seems a little funky...
what do you use for deck drafting ?
Does anyone remember the video where Kripp says he was against a "fork rogue"?
what did he use to get the suggestions for picking cards?
... My average deck is 62 this expansion...
he went 8-3 but still had to complain about his deck when he lost kek
Kripp, do the people working at Hearthstone every listen to your advice for upcoming sets?
Is that some addon for arena draw?
For fuck sake, the only thing this highlights is that nothing matters anymore in RNGstone. Worst deck ever? Get 10 wins anyway. Best deck ever? Get shit on and go 4-3. Skilled player? Who cares, here's some more dicerolls and swing cards that can literally decide games on their own.
hmmm, a card that has tons of stats but gives the opponent mana discounts...
so basically venture co mercenary
E_M_E_T not really, a card like that would make your opponents combo deck a lot better whereas venture co doesn't
more like the 2 mana 4/4
