This big 🐕's Soy video came up in my Recommended a couple weeks or so ago and I decided to give him a sub after watching it. He seemed like a lulzy gentleman. Totally agreed with him on the "why are you speaking as an authority figure on something you don't know about." People running their mouths on things they know little to nothing about is one of my pet peeves. I was a very early member of the website Quora, which was supposed to be a Q&A site with answers by people that have authority in the matters but it didn't take that long to have an influx of muppets commenting on questions where it was very obvious they had no clue on the subject. I don't get the impetus some people have to share their opinion when they're clueless. No one's forcing you to reply, like wtf is wrong with you?Narcissism or something I dunno.
Great cast as usual. Would love to see you do something with Mishaco and Chris from Small Arms Solutions. Thank you for not getting too political or religious. #compromise

For me, the scariest thing with AI is definitely yes tricking people into thinking something is real that isn’t. But couldn’t AI just get advanced enough to the point where stealth aircraft become essentially useless because AI would be able to figure out some type of algorithm and detect what radar pings are actually a stealth aircraft and not like a bird? Or even scarier suicide drones that can automatically detect somebody who is really well covered and immediately race towards that person.
As someone who just bought their first gun at 21 it was a Glock 43x mos on sale I am definitely more concerned with my home/self defense kit/loadout then collecting at this point in time tho with that said I would love a mosin nagant and enfield
As a 40 year old who watched nothing to now and works in technology AI scares the living hell out of me. Also check the most recent unsub podcast they were talking about a system in the navy that controls the whole fleet. Might be the new version of AEGIS
Vintage, if you were to go through and do a review of Masters of the Air, I think people would definitely be interested in that. I've been watching it and it's definitely a mixed bag of things. Some of the air-combat effects are great, and some aren't. The story is decent. The dialogue is by far the worst part though.
milsurp price gouging has become pretty vile at gun shows. one time i saw a guy trying to sell a basic yugo sks for well over 1k and his reasoning is that because russia created the sks, this obvious yugo sks is russian therefore it commands a premium price. first i legit laughed then loudly called his bullshit so anyone in earshot knows which table is bullshit. hey i dont care ill be the asshole that loudly calls out a price gouger. fuck them and their velcro shoes.
Exactly. I love milsurp but I prioritized my kit & ar build but damn my first gun was very close to being a mosin. It’s a passion for the history but the reality of being a gun owner in todays ave
This must have been filmed quite a while ago... the end talk about video games got me a bit nostalgic... Also RIP enlisted merge effectively killed the game.
I just want a French lebel rifle but don't want to be spending near or over 1000$ on a gun that the inside of the gun looks like it had pure acid poured down the bore.
Prefacing this with, I dont own a mosin or sell guns. In a free trade society; the price of an item (or service) is determined by what the buyers are wiling willing to spend. A particular mosin becomes a $5000 gun when someone wants it bad enough. Accusing people of scalping for selling "over priced" guns is socialistic. If the "scalper" is actually selling the guns at the price you believe to be obscene; it means the buyer wanted the gun bad enough buy it thus confirming the asking price. A truly overpriced gun (item or service) never sells. The supply of mosins 30 years ago isnt justification that the rifles should be "cheap" today, suggesting crates full of $80 mosins from 30 years requires low prices for the same rifle today blindly ignores the effects of age, sentimentality, population increase, inflation, overall DECREASE of supply over the past 30 years etc.
You boys need to normalize the audio on these. The audio goes from super quiet to blowing out my ears. Idk what DAW (or whatever else) you use to record these but ik FL has it built in so at the least there's likely just an add-on you can get for your preferred software that will do most of the normalizing for you.
I think AI is a loooong way from being combat efficient. Look at self driving cars. They've claiming self driving cars are right around the corner since the early 90s. Then look at videogames, I'd say enemy and NPC AI has gotten worse in most games. The only game I've played recently with impressive AI is Sons Of The Forest and even then it's more about immersion then actual intelligence and is easily exploited. From what I hear military testing AI drones aren't doing well at all against soldiers.
AI in warfare is a lot different then self driving cars. The way we are going to see AI used is in information gathering, fire coordination, possibly strategizing, and with 100% certainty information warfare. AI is a strategic tool rather than a tactical one.
