Not TMI. One brother of mine always replied to me as TMI. I only recently found out that his grandchild, who I had asked about for YEARS is grown and married.
    TMI is BS

Even the hack media will do journalism when it is sensational/outrageous/generates clicks. Noem is behaving outrageously, obviously creating her own reality in a way that is mystifying. If nothing else it generates viewer curiousity. It has the same viewer appeal as when everyone slows down on the freeway to see the accident.

I've never seen anything in politics like the moral self-destruction of the GOP.

It's not just that cheating a lot can be a sign of virility and masculinity. It's that the customers of sex work are always victims seduced into it, while the sex workers themselves are evil perpetrators. When righties develop pornography addictions (very common), any personal shame they would have is shunted into anger at the women whose videos and streams they're consuming.

King David, the man after God's own heart, committed aldultery (at least with another man's wife, not sure if David had a wife at that point), and ordered the murder (via battlefield finagling) of the soldier who was the woman's husband. So the point that great biblical leaders have done this is valid, but it is not a sign of strength, but rather an indication of our sin. And of course great, powerful leaders have more opportunity than the average person to indulge in sin. See Psalm 51 to find out what David (and the prophet Nathan ) thought about his actions. There's more detail on Nathan confronting David in II Samuel 12,

But in fairness, do Democrats have the right to criticize Trump's moral behavior when they defend Bill Clinton? The argument for Clinton seems have been that powerful leaders do this all the time (which is true) and there's nothing to see here. That argument works for Trump. Maybe evangelical (and other) Christians (and people of other faiths) need to retire the argument about moral sexual behavior as a standard for leaders. That's the way forward, rather than the dangerous argument that this is a new standard for general Christian/righteous behavior.

@@jeremyhickersonsalem I'm very consistent because I criticized Clinton back in the 90s and Trump now. We former GOP never Trumpers have been entirely consistent.

May Day Victory Day Parade is upon us. Do you have a prediction on the number of tanks participating in the Russian military parade? Last year's total was 1.

Watching Stormy Daniels testimony recaps and reading Libertarian publications, toxic Christian lifestyle choice articles, and every Presidential bit on the side memoire in your expansive collection. Eww. I think there are self-help meetings for this.
