"Oh Ireland, must we leave you, driven by a tyrant's hand, And seek a mother's blessing from a strange and distant land, Where the cruel cross of England shall ne'er more be seen, And in that land we'll live and die, still wearing Ireland's green." That's why I wear green about 80% of the time. Cuimhnigí ar na daoine a dTáinig sibh uathu!
And here I am, ten months later, wearing a black shirt. Or course it has an Irish flag, a shamrock, and the word "IRELAND" across the front. Go figure... ;)

I am Scott-Irish, my ancestors were part of the first group of Scotts given land in northern Ireland and started all that bs. It was all in the past, but when i meet a person native to southern Ireland and say that, the mood changes quick. I know why to those wounds cut deep and still haven't healed completely. I know wasn't born there, and shouldn't feel like this. But because my family went to northern Ireland back then, when they should have said. That is not our land nor is it yours to give to us, and we don't want to bother them. But i am sure that would not have went over well with the English back then.
Indeed it is. I mean even if the war with Afghanistan were over tomorrow another war would only start the next day. And Hypathetically speaking, if we discovered a species from another planet. First thing we would do is start a war with them

When my cousin from Germany visited us once(He was kid back than, and he was born and raised in Germany), while we were passing by the folklore hall(where the traditional Serbian music and dance take place), upon hearing it he asked me if it's Irish music. 🤣

ps: There are a ton of Jacobite songs they could do. Serbia has royalist's, so do us Gaelic types! ..A "Jacobite" supports the restoration of the rightful House Of Stuart to that throne! It began in 1688 and is not over yet! God is with us!

Rock and Roll! I like the folk versions much better. Percussion is so alien. Well, maybe not kettledrums and bodhrains. But kits and traps -- they take away more than they add.
Gaulish chieftains from fourth and third century BC have names whose clear etymology is preserved in Serbian. Breton, Welsh, Irish, Lithuanian and Slavic languages are the only ones which share "vran" as a word for raven and crow, but only Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian and Polish languages use Vran, Vron as a word for black. Slavic languages are the only ones which have preserved the old word "Bran" meaning to defend, protect. How is this possible if Slavs and Celts were not supposed to have had any contacts? oldeuropeanculture.blogspot.ie/2014/04/bran-vran.html
Serbian Irish I've read somewhere that there was some kind of a Celtic expedition here in Serbian territory and that some of them have settled in a few towns. There is a small town (forgot its name) which was somewhat isolated and some of their old customs are very similar to Celtic customs. Also the people living there had distinct genetic traits not common to Slavic peoples, but very common to Celtic. I've got to find that text and post it here!
its already dangerous to say, whats forbitten... many germans and others are wanting to know what really happend during WW2 and how accurate the documents and testimonies were which were brought up as proofs during the nürnberger warcrime tribunal from the americans... no doubts are allowed, not even questions... you go in jail for that for many many years...
Long live Serbia from Ireland
