- It’s been the backdrop for Hollywood films for nearly 100 years. From Hop-Along Cassidy to Iron Man, the Alabama Hills and its unique geologic formations has been the backdrop to more than 100 films. But this is also an amazing place to explore and shoot landscapes like nowhere else on Earth. Jeff, David and Zack set up camp in the middle of this bizarre mix of boulders and jagged peaks to tell the visual story of this historic site and discover a different side of this movie-making hot spot as the night sky erupts with the real stars of the hills.
Saw last night. The scenery was breath taking. Immediately started looking into a vacay to go there. The documentary was so good it deserves an award if it hasnt already. Loved it.

You should have tens thousands of hits on this piece. Subscribed. Superbly done! Taking my cameras and dusting them off and camping at Alabama Hillls, then if roads open from snow to Ancient Bristle Cones and Mammoth Hot Creek.
