I found this very interesting mainly because I am also a descendent of Thomas Macy from Nantucket so love being able connect to my family history any information I can find.
@@KyndalTheMeister I have done a lot of research already on my heritage. Even ordered the Macy genealogy book from Amazon and tracked my lineage from Thomas Macy down to my great great grandfather where the book ends time wise. Thomas Macy is my 11th great grandfather as is Tristram Coffin.
They had credit back in the 1850’s? How did that work without a computer to access balance limits a d stuff like that? Did they even have telephones to call the banks?
Can you fit any more stock footage/ photos in this??

That’s fascinating!! Have you considered doing any deeper research into your family, or making a short video about your families ties to Thomas Macy?

The founders died in the titanic
It was one of the owners (who took control of the company after the Macy family sold it) and his wife who died on the Titanic.
