You see this tragedy destroy so many lives and still believe in a God that intervenes in our lives? I hope a way can be found to reduce his sentence, It serves no purpose other than revenge, particularly in the barbarism of the US prison system. There will be thousands of young people around the world today doing things as reckless as those boys did without consequence. The chance outcome is all that separates catastrophe from sober reflection of youthful stupidity in old age. I notice very little civic responsibility in this case. The road in question was known as a drag strip as far as I can tell. The authorities did nothing but change some speed limits and install some flashing lights. If ever a road screamed out for traffic calming it was this one. A coupe of hundred thousand dollars spent on chicanes and speed bumps might have seen a young mother still enjoying her five year old daughter, and two young men making the most of the advantages life had handed them.
I hope there's a go fund me set up for this family. This kid can't be forgotten about on the inside... after 20 year's will his parents still be alive, in good health, or any friends left??? As hard as it is, they need to pull themselves together, wipe away some tears, and be there for one another, and try to keep the kids spirits up and tell him he will have nothing to worry about when he gets out.

He deserves time but 10 years would be alot hes loosing is 20s which is a magical time for anyone.

Cameron isn’t remorseful though, the family tried until the very end to suppress information regarding how fast the Mustang was traveling because they knew it would cement the case against him. A truly sorry, remorseful person wouldn’t try to suppress evidence in order to get a lighter sentence.

I notice very little civic responsibility in this case. The road in question was known as a drag strip as far as I can tell. The authorities did nothing but change some speed limits and install some flashing lights. If ever a road screamed out for traffic calming it was this one.
A coupe of hundred thousand dollars spent on chicanes and speed bumps might have seen a young mother still enjoying her five year old daughter, and two young men making the most of the advantages life had handed them.

I hope there's a go fund me set up for this family. This kid can't be forgotten about on the inside... after 20 year's will his parents still be alive, in good health, or any friends left??? As hard as it is, they need to pull themselves together, wipe away some tears, and be there for one another, and try to keep the kids spirits up and tell him he will have nothing to worry about when he gets out.

Also they tell us always never talk to the police, just give i.d. and that is all, if police ask anymore questions say i want to speak to my attorney.. because 90% of evidence came from police reports and a same case happened in a different state, and the defendant got less then 6 months + 2 years community work and suspended license. Bottom line is that it was an unintentional death…
Feel so sorry for his parents as their lives are ruined as well . He did wrong and deserves some punishment for what he did but 24 years in that hell hole florida prison is not justice it’s pure revenge .
