I have a question, but not sure how to properly ask it;; ahh, I will try! So, if I were to follow your eye tutorials first, before anything else, won't there be issues later when I'm setting up different parameters? Because eyes will already have keyforms set in certain positions, won't they conflict with the keyforms made in this tutorial, for instance? Hope I'm making sense;;; Also, thank you so much for these wonderful tutorials! They're really good!
That's why you need to create new deformers, so they don't conflict! Ideally you want one deformer to work for max 2 parameters For example if after following my eye rigging tutorial, you also want to make Head X, you take your EyeR and EyeL deformer together and you put them in a new deformer called Eyes XY! This way only the big container deformer EyesXY is linked to Angle X and Angle Y and it won't conflict with other parameters ^_^

I have a question, (I’m not sure if you already answered it but I couldn’t figure it out from the other comments so sorry if that’s the case!) When it’s time to reflect the iris+light head xy motion, you copy pasted both the deformed and the mesh. My 1st solution was to transfer the copypasted deformers onto the old eye meshes but then the motion is all wonky. Is this the right course and I only have to fix the motion, or there is a different method?
Usually i copy-paste the mesh too only because like that i can position it precisely in the right place on the opposite side ^_^ Usually to have a proper reflect, you'd have to drag your copy-pasted deformers out of their current parent and put it the same parent as the other eye, then reflect it and then put it back in the proper deformer parent ^_^

thank you so much for the tutorial, this really helpful!!
after rigging the head base at 15:46, my lineart got a lil distorted and messy. is there a fix to this? and also, at 18:48, i did the eye rigging tutorial from your other videos, so it has multiple deformers. do i put those deformers with the eyes pieces into the head XY one? cuz its telling me to create an object with the same parent deformer and idk what that means. thanks :)
Hello! Is your head lineart mesh detailed enough? Sometimes if it's not it can crack
Also for adding the deformers, just select the Eye R and Eye L deformers, all of their childs will automatically go inside
@@YoshinoArt that worked; thanks!! and it’s probably just my line art quality then, oh well 😅
@@cynikov you can increase the divisions in the lineart to make it work!! Just click on it and go in mesh edit and hit "4 division"
@@YoshinoArt oh oke! i’ll try that, ty :3
Woah! New model!
wish you would have included the rigging the mouth open as my characters mouth is very similar lol
I am thinking of making a mouth tutorial soon!
@@YoshinoArt good to hear! your tutorial is super helpful 👍
@@YoshinoArt PLEASE do . been loving ur tutorials but got very confsued on how do i make my mouth open and close haha . ur the best!!
hey, i have a problem. my facial features keep moving with the head before i add a warp deformer. how do i fix this? i love your tutorials btw
Hello! Maybe you accidentaly put the facial feature in the same deformer as the head base? You can simply drag-drop them outside of it :)
