  • This is my D-Day display in my museum. It represents Omaha and Utah beach 1 day after D-Day. This is what it probably would have looked like. All my displays are with 100% original items. The invasion happened June 6 1945 at 5:45 in the morning on a Tuesday. 150,000 American and Allied troops hit the beaches of Normandy France. Unfortunately in the 1st 24 hours we lost over 4,400 American soldiers and the Allies lost double that. We thank them all for their sacrifices, because of brave men like this we have our freedom today.
If you would like to see more we are open Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 10:00 for one guided tour each of those days.

@@Combatarms4234 He is not passionate about history at all. His displays are awful, and he gets so many things wrong in his explanations. All he cares about is flexing stuff he bought from At The Front or other reenactor wholesalers and put it in his "museum". These tours are just him going "And look what I got here". You don't learn anything about history.

    • @Theakker3B

@@Combatarms4234 Then why are his displays absolute crap and why does he get so many things wrong? To start, he lists the date as June 6, 1945 in the description.
Why do the American flags have 50 stars?
0:17 4,400 is the approximate number for ALL Allied deaths on June 6, 1944, not just American. If he is just talking about American deaths (and apparently only talking about Operation Neptune, the beach landings, and not the Airborne operations as well) the number of US deaths on Omaha and Utah beaches combined is approximately 1,000 - 2,000 deaths.
0:55 Why are all the medics wearing OD M43 jackets and two armbands? They should have the khaki M41 jackets instead.
0:56 Obviously a crappy DENIX prop M1 rifle there.
0:58 Real morphine??? Yeah, sure it's real. Totally would not get raided by the DEA if it were real morphine. And what he holds up is not a morphine surette, it's an iodine swab (so he doesn't even know what he's showing). They would stick the morphine in the thigh, not the arm, and morphine does not "paralyze the left or right side". It does the opposite; it's like getting a huge painful hit of adrenaline and then you get high as a kite.
1:16 Again, all these guys incorrectly wearing OD M43 jackets. Should be the M41's instead. Also, the mannequin on the left appears to be wearing a 1945 OD green pistol belt.
1:35 M1 Carbine has the very late-war adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug. Definitely would not have seen that in June, 1944. The mannequins are all wearing late-war un-oiled fresh out of the repro box M43 buckle boots when they should be the Type II service shoes with leggings instead. And another obvious DENIX M1 rifle with fabric sling (should be the leather M1917 sling).
1:36 If those are actual WWII sandbags, then they should be burlap tan instead of OD green.
1:52 Wrong. That's not a "patch" it's a brassard, and it would turn pink at the presence of chemical agents, not blue. And for a guy who prides himself on having nothing but "the real deal", the brassards are clearly the starch fabric reproductions made by At The Front. The originals more yellow and they are like construction paper.
2:28 Again, the fabric sling on the "M1 Grand" (as he calls it) is incorrect. It should be the M1917 leather sling.
2:49 It's not a rocket. The blank lobs the grenade off the end of the rifle. The grenade itself has no rocket motor.
3:11 "Everything I'm showing you is the real deal." Oh really? Then please explain the post-WWII cast iron training grenade painted solid OD green you pull out of it.
3:48 Again, if it were an M1 Carbine in June, 1944, then it would not have the ability to attach a bayonet nor the adjustable rear sight.
4:30 - 4:50 The majority of stuff shown is late-war. Too much OD green to be D-Day. If you are going to have OD green stuff for D-Day, make it HBT uniforms.
4:53 I see a bundle of post-WWII cast iron training grenades painted solid green you can get at any surplus store.
4:59 Again, more OD M43 jackets and OD webbing that would not be issued to D-Day assault troops.
5:11 The solid black M3 grease gun looks like an airsoft gun or maybe another DENIX.
5:13 Yeah, I'm sure those are actual live explosives from 80 years ago just casually sitting out in the open. 80 years would totally not make those incredibly unstable.
Beyond this, I see nothing but late-war M43 uniforms, and even a 101st paratrooper in a M43 jacket (smh). I also see a lot of khaki assault vests on mannequins, when the OD green ones (contrary to everything else) were more common on D-Day.
7:35 "In my book, every guy who hit the beach should have got the Medal of Honor." What a sentiment. Like pieces of ribbon and gold actually matter when it comes to people killing each other. This guy only cares about his ego, his bank account, and compensating for his tiny dick. Not history.

@@Combatarms4234 I actually care about history so I will gladly give you context to my points; I'm not just hating to hate. A proper museum is not to "show off" stuff, it's to educate people. In his "museum" there are no panels of text, historical timelines, or photos so visitors can learn about the history that everything on display pertains to. It's just "Look at this thing I got. And look at this thing I got. Over here, I got this thing." Ok, so what? He just wants to show off his collection, but as I have already stated, his collection is not very impressive. It's a bunch of repro stuff that is poorly displayed on some cheap Styrofoam mannequins. And then he claims it's all rare and "the real deal" when it is anything but. And I have seen far more egregiously bad videos from Dragonman, so it's not like he just slipped up here. He sucks overall.

I’m gonna have to agree with Michael here, this is just completely laughable. I don’t think dragon man is a bad guy or anything, I just think that he’s misleading his customers with all the BS he spews. And also why would he have actual dynamite in his museum bruh it’s pretty much all laughable. And why tf does he have like 789 US flags, yes the Americans were on d day, but that just makes this museum one sided and kinda just silly, like as if d day was just all “HOOAAH AMERICA YA FREDOOM.” Just absolutely ridiculous.

You said the m1 carbine is what they would have fought on the beaches with on D-Day ,when in fact you picked up one which is not correct, it has the wrong sight on it and they never had any bayonets on them ,they only came into operation mainly for Korea. You will never see a picture of any one on Omaha or Utah with one,but still you have a great museum.

God bless America for all the soldiers that lost their lives in World War II specially, the ones on D-Day on June 6, 1944 that was 80 years ago. I paid my respects for all those young men that went on that beach in Normandy to take that beach from the Nazisand take France back from the Nazis. It was not easy because the Nazis were way ahead of us and they have all the good stuff on World War II.

let us not forget the Red Army which, by fighting the Nazis on the Eastern Front at the cost of numerous sacrifices, forced the German army to fight on two fronts and thus enabled the Anglo-American landing in Normandy, Glory to the courageous American soldiers, English , French but also to the Russians who liberated Europe from the Nazi demons, when Americans and Russians unite to destroy absolute evil nothing can resist them, when peace finally reigns between your two peoples the world will turn out much better!!
