Me too Dave! It’s ridiculous when people say these lifts mean and or will mean nothing in the end. Its ignorant in the very least but then again very few people think the way hardcore lifters think it’s probably less than 1%. Ive had 6 months to live and next to needing my family constantly all’s I mostly thought about was will I be able to exercise tomorrow(couldn’t lift the bar for few months so it was just exercise for a minute) and will I ever be able to lift the bar again?!?! It drove me and it was my gauge for everything and I never stopped believing I would. And I did and this month 5 yrs cancer free and my lifts are the biggest they’ve ever been in my life.

Great info as usual, Dave! I know I’ve mentioned it before about the audio volume, but it bears repeating. Volume was great during intro (“where the underground still thrives…” part), and then drops a lot when the interview starts. After 1:50:00 after your commercials, it dropped significantly more, and I really had to crank the volume (when UA-cam commercials come on, it scares the bejeezus out of me). But thanks for doing these!

As far as Pete talking about eating clean at 1:59:00 he's right, the only thing that matters is calorie intake, ideally in a high protein diet. "eating clean" is subjective, the way most people talk about it, but it doesn't have to be. All eating clean really means is eating whole, unprocessed foods. anybody can eat pretty much whatever they want as long as there is calorie in, calorie out and the food isn't laced with a pile of chemicals as you would find in a box of hungry man, a swanson TV dinner, a box of bagel bites or a lean cuisine. as long as you stay away from boxed groceries and sugary drinks, you'll be fine.
