Can’t wait to read the book
same here!
I have the old Canal boys book . Looking forward to this.
Can't wait to grab this one after the holidays. Pre ordering boxing day 🤩🤩😍
Can’t wait to read the book. You’re a great moderator Mike.
This book is huge. Can't wait for it to come out.
Interesting perspective. Telling the story, behind telling the story.
Looking forward to this. My takeaway from this is his insight as a non-Chinese person. I fully understand everything on this channel because of my background with NYC Chinatown. My non-Asians friends won't. The difference in culture is the reason. At 16:30, he says he goes on to explain the culture and why certain incidents would happen. This really helps the audience to understand.
The book is gonna be awesome!😎
Everett De Morier was a legendary gangster back in the 80's.
What gang?
I pre ordered the book back in May on Amazon. Can’t wait to read it! There will be photos also, right?
They should send you an autographed, pre-order edition. You're their #1 fan. You watch and comment on every video.
@@gingerfoxxy1 Many never before seen photos from the 70’s and 80’s.
Chinatown Gang Stories🐲🔴💰💯
Hopefully we can get a book on Uncle Benny.
Hello From Connecticut. Would love to hear the history of Chinatown gangs making moves in CT, if any occurred…
請問自傳會出中文版嗎?我在大陸的朋友也想收藏
I'm a widower from Topeka! You think you known me!? 😂
🔥🔥🔥 can't wait
I was thinking how cool it would be if Peter decided to come out with a movie about his life. Would love to see that happen! What do you think? Let's keep our fingers crossed!
We should all explain to Mike what crowd funding is so he can make a GoFundme page....I'm 99% sure they'll rise enough for a biopic or movie or even a gangster tv drama about Chinatown gangs following the 70s to mid 90s the ending the series with a huge FBI bust and the main character behind bars and writing his story. Do t have to follow a real person but rather a fictional person based on everyone Mike knew and all the stories he saw and heard to create a story based on all that...that way no one gets get in trouble when telling the story.
mike needs to let the guests speak without interrupting
First!
In the early 1980s, I met KitJei at Peter Lugers Steakhouse. I didn't know who was at the dinner until they sat down. My girlfriend (at that time) asked me to escort a mutual female friend (C) of ours to drive her to dinner. This friend's younger sister (S) was dating Kit Jei, and they were meeting another gang leader to talk "business."" I don't remember much of the conversations. I just remember that after dinner, we drove back in separate cars to Mott Street to take leftovers to feed the "little dogs" (lian jeis) as Peter would say. That's what I remember.
Cool story bro. And its "kid jai" not ki jei...lol
Now let’s tell the story of how you met Everette and what’s his background.
That story will be covered in the first 11 pages of the book.
Don’t forget the Black Eagles
How about a book about GD?
Will come out at 50th anniversary.
再冇大頭真係unfollow…
@@jameslau2195 He's a co-author--one might even say a ghost [dragon] writer--helping to bring these untold stories to the larger public. It's great!
