I am from Spain, I have imported a 1972 f250, 360 engine, what type of water do you put in it? I have also heard that you have to add a lead additive to gasoline, is that correct? Thanks for the video!
Welcome to the channel! I recommend distilled water if you're mixing your own antifreeze coolant. I use 50/50 green premix. If it's an original 1972 motor it's the first year Ford installed hardened valve seats. Meaning you don't require any lead additives to the fuel. If you don't drive it often I would use premium ethanol free gas.

@@jacobsupgrades Thank you very much Jacob!!! If it is an original '72 engine, thank you for your clarifications, here in Spain the mechanics do not know these engines and it is always good if someone takes the trouble to respond. Thank you very much, greetings!
@@jesus9755 I'm glad to help out! I'm sure that's a rare truck and engine over there. Did you import the truck yourself?
@@jacobsupgrades Good afternoon Jacob, I imported it through a company based in Germany "Hot Rod Imports" I went from Spain to Germany to see the Ford and I saw it and bought it. Import it in a truck to the south of Spain
@@jesus9755 that's really cool! Welcome to the classic Ford family!
You did this the hardest way possible. Just take the top bolt off the alternator and no need for hoses disconnect
Thanks for the comment that's a great point for changing out the temp sender.
