When I clicked on this video, I was all set to hate it. I'm a huge Yaz (Yazoo) fan from the day Vince left Depeche Mode. This is a masterpiece. I have chills listening to it. As incredible as the synth work is - and it IS incredible - the vocals just floored me. Pure tone. Unreal.

Perfect execution! Every layer, every tone, every element, just like the original. This is one of my favorite all time synth pop songs. And I’ve been listening to this song since it came out in 1982, so I know it inside and out. When I listed to this remake, I was amazed at how well you honored the original sound by putting forth tremendous effort to approximate it as close as possible, and I think you nailed it!

What a monstrous display of talent at the keyboards! The singer's not too bad, but he's not at the same height of the players. I love this synthesizer version, hope more people could make this track so perfectly with only their ears and hands. Congrats.. =0)
Great cover. Vocalist is good, but NO ONE can compare to Ms. Moyet. But, great job, one of my favorites, and being a VERY amateur musician I can appreciate the effort and talent it takes to put together a good cover.

Thanks. That was one of our early performances, I believe we have since improved our sync, but that doesn't make it less challenging.
