    In this video I show you how to do the stabilize motion effect that always impresses clients and makes my sports video edits stand out on Instagram! You can do this simple effect inside of Adobe After Effects CC and stabilize motion to an object as we’ve done here, to a person, or to anything else for that matter.
    I use this locked-on stabilization effect on objects all the time in my sports videography work and after seeing how popular the effect was, figured that making an easy motion tracking tutorial aimed at beginners to After Effects would be a good idea!

    Do you have to speed ramp before you stabilize?

  • @modusoperandi825

    just FYI the tracking system in ae is based on pixel contrast. It does not know nor recognize the objects or people you try to track, hence why it was losing the tracking most of the time. Either the pixels(object) got obscured as you said yourself or as the ball is spinning it also rapidly changes, so it's really hard to get it automatically tracked with shots like these.

    Hey, thanks for this tut. What is the discount code for the free packs?

    • @petersarellas
      @petersarellas  2 роки тому +1

      No discount code needed for the free overlay and glitch transition packs on my website. They’re priced at $0.00 so you should be able to download them without payment info. If you’re still having trouble let me know and I’ll get you sorted.

      @@petersarellas Apparently the free packs are asking for a discount code, so I'm still having trouble.

    Hey with your experience in the field would you say that the Market isn’t looking for photographers as much and looking for more for skilled video people like you.

    • @petersarellas
      @petersarellas  Рік тому

      In my experience in the field I’ve found there’s more work in video than photo simply because the editing process for video is usually much longer and there are less people either capable or willing to do it.

      Hey so my current camera is the Sony a7riii for photography. I’m considering getting the fx30 because it’s gives me the many options to shoot in 4K . I’d like to know if you think that’s good camera start with when it comes to creating sports content videos or should i get the r4 since it’s a more hybrid camera great with photos and can give me up 4k60 in video .
