I feel the same as you about Angelina's "Unchained Melody" performance at the Nobel concert. It was a very special performance and, to me, one of the best performances by anybody, anywhere and at any time. I will die happy having heard that!
This performance of GYBR was my introduction to Angelina back at the start of Covid in the spring of 2020. Needless to say, I was blown away by the performance and I have followed and listened to Angelina every day since.
The nice thing about Angelina is that she doesn't sing a song or copy it exactly like the original. She always makes her own version of it except when she makes a tribute then she stays close to the original artist

Heidi become great friends with Angelina and has introduced her to a lot of new experiences, venues, people, etc since this show aired in 2020. She has been very supportive and has promoted her at many international events.
One of those was Germany's Next Top Model (GNTM), where Heidi was the host. She invited Angelina to the show, (as a singer 😊), where she performed the song "Valerie". That performance is actually one of my favorites by Angelina. She had JUST turned 17 or was still 16 at the time.
Also, Angelina looks so gorgeous in that performance that she could just have well been one of the models. I'm not even joking.

These competitions are somewhat fixed in my opinion. She didn't finish in the top five. Ironically the top 5 signed with Simon and she refused.
Simon has no influence on the winners of these shows, Freemantle Media owns the Got Talent franchise worldwide. It is their normally required boilet plate contract she did not sign. She was already in negotiations for other recording contracts and AGT wanted her enough they relented. Both got what they wanted. Angie got global exposure and Freemantle got a multi million click performance.

Maybe you underestimate the sincerity of people like Heidi Klum. They became friends and Heidi invites Angelina to perform at Germany's top model or some thing like that.
