Yesterday she channeled Etta James and today it's Ella Fitzgerald. Rasp and vocal fry and soul one day and then sweet, jazzy perfection the next. I woke up to see this reaction on the screen this morning and had to smile. I knew you would love this performance as do all Angels. Someone did a sort of side by side video of this with Ella Fitzgerald and it is amazing how a ten year old can match a seasoned professional. This is one of those performances that you can watch over and over and never get tired of it. Thanks for your continued support of Angelina.

Great reaction! This is one of my absolute favorites by her. It was recorded the day before she went to the US for the first time, to prepare for the move to La that happened 2 years later when she was 12. In that respect, the name of the song is quite fitting, don't you think ?? It was recorded live on television on a rooftop above the main broadcaster in Norway, situated is Oslo, our capital. As many have said, this is a very special performance by Angelina and certainly up there with my favorites. What made it different for me? Obviously her voice was angelic and even beyond that, but more importantly it is one of the only videos that comes to mind where she is actually smiling and looking joyous as she sang the song. To this point, Angelina usually had a serious expression on her face as she saying and focused and closed her eyes into her world. But here, there is just a relaxed contentment that melted me. I would love to see a lot more from her, showing her joy of singing that she speaks about.
Just after this she and her flew to the US, among the things the were doing, AJ was to sing at the Mattel Hospital Celebrity's Benefit she was escorted there by Gene Simmons(KISS). There used to be a video of it but I haven't seen it available for several years.
Every time I see this performance I expect angels to float down from above and lift Angelina back to Heaven. This was an extraordinary performance, with the same guitarist that accompanied her on NGT when she sang Bang Bang. Thank you for your prauers. God bless.

Genuine soulfulness. It's something that cannot be manufactured or taught. The proof positive is when she starts to sing for us before our brain has a chance to understand what is happening our heart takes over and we feel a stirring around inside us, the warmth of a love divine and we soak it all in. Many of us are always on the verge of tears when we watch her and listen to her and it's because of her genuine soulfulness which transitions into a form of love in it's purest state and out hearts welcome Angelina's love and once there it will never leave. Angelina is aware of what is going on and the purity of her soul allows her to remain humble and to do what she can to bring love to everyone who listens to her sing. Eventually every person in the world will know who Angelina Jordan is and won't we be so happy for those who discover her.
This performance was very poignant for Angelina because she knew she was leaving to move to the states. And she really, really loves her home country. Thanks to her, I can certainly see why. Listening to this beautiful rendition of that lovely song makes me tear up as though I was leaving too.
She wasn't moving to the states yet (this was in 2016 when Angelina was 10). She was going on a trip to the USA (summer holiday/job.. singing on "Big Little Stars" among other things). She moved 2 years later, in the spring of 2018, at 12.

She an excellent example, and I am aware of far more of her acts of charity than you are. Her original music is all about respect for self and others and there is no reason you should deprive yourself and others by waiting for someone to request a specific song by her. Here, she shows her genius at 10 in realizing that you are not going to be able to really effect change to Ella's perfection when she recorded the song so Angelina simply slows it down a bit more than Ella's version. It is the most breathtakingly penetrating rendition of the song I have ever experienced. When they say that less can actually be more, this is what they are talking about.
