Hi Priya. That’s great to hear. We arrived on 16th January 2023 and would have greatly benefited from a video like this. Hopefully it’ll help others. 🙂 Thank you for your support.
Hi Guys,i love your content and the transparency of your process and how the living on the other side is like. We would more info. My family and I are in the process of making the big move to NZ, and your videos and information has helped us alot. Have a blessed and prosperous life in NZ. Supply us with more info❤
Thank you so much! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. What kind of videos would you like to see going forward and what would make your process moving over easier?keep well and hopefully see you around here soon.
Hi,thanks so much for taking the time to reply. We would like to see more family oriented places to visit with your family and also how the education system is like for kids in high school if you have any information for us about that would be greatly appreciated. What type of curriculum they use. And also what type of food items like spices 😂 can it be brought into new zealand. How was your process with buying and moving your furniture is like. I hope im not asking too much. Thanks again. ❤
Thank you for the great video guys! 🎉 PS: you should let your sneeze out even if its a spray job 😅 else the pressure isn't good for you and can pop a vessel.
Hi Dunn Family ! it is lovely to see your videos, thank you for the great help. Please advise how did ypu open a NZ bank account while being in your home country, as i understand that you need to give proof of address. does this address need to be of NZ or home country? Also for license , IRD etc I am assuming one needs a NZ address. Also what arrangement did you make before landing at NZ regarding your stay ?How did you manage getting a house on rent ? did you do all the documentation post signing the Tenant agreement ? Sorry am a bit over whelmed and asking you too many things, please take your time. Thanks again ! 🙏
Inform your bank your IRD # so you are not over-charged for RWT (resident withholding tax). Say your income tax is 17.5 % and you did not inform the bank, you will be charged 33%. Some type of bank accounts like the PIE fixed term deposits, the highest RWT is at 28% meaning if you are on the 33% income tax, you are only paying 28% tax.
Hi Hiema. No it does not but Zane’s job has just been added to the green list so we could now change visas to the straight to residency visa if we want to fast track the process. Still deciding on that.
hi Guys thank You for the video. quick question did you guys use an agency for your migration process. or did you just do it on your own and submit everything to NZ immigration?
Hi there Sameer. It took us about four days to acclimatise so we didn’t have the energy to do anything (jet lag). But we arrived 2 weeks before Zane started working.
@@Dunnstakenz wow thank you for the feedback I really enjoy watching your videos, I am also immigrating to hamilton with my family but I used a immigration company from new zeland as I didn't know wht to expect. I wish your family everything of the best and hope to meet with you guys one day stay blessed
Once you have at least 6 months work record, go to your bank and get the car loan refinanced with them. Will save you a ton of $ in interest. Car finance companies prey on people who dont know. Any bank in NZ will give a much better rate.
But we proud of you guys . Keep on holding south africa 🇿🇦 higher
We love you guys
Thank you so much, Cecilia. We appreciate your support.
Nice guys really informative to people wanting to make the move
Thank you Keegs. Our hope with this channel is to always be helpful and informative.

Very informative, what i also want to know is, will your visa allow you straight to residency?

Thanks guys🙏🏻cWould you mind sharing the website address for the IRD application?
Hi, anytime. That’s www.IRD.govt.nz. Thank you for watching. 🙏🏽

Hi Otavio. Thank you for watching. We did not use an agency. Zane did the process on his own for our family.
Hi guys thank you for the information, just a question when you guys landed how long did you guys have in time before you started work?

How is the public transport?
We’ve found it to be reliable and affordable. The bus system works well in our neighbourhood in Auckland.
Sound very low

This is brilliant advice, what rate should I consider reasonable rate from a bank? Thank you for watching and sharing.
well done
Thank you very much Vicktec. We appreciate it.
