Yeah, about style of YT'bers: each Channel offers different personalities of each of the people recording and narrating. This evening, I started with Scott (Scotty Boy) on Regular Guy. Then I watched The Garcia Family (Joe, JM, and Bella). Yours was last. Personalities are all unique and equally enjoyable. I'm 82, living alone in the desert south west, so each of the videos is very enriching for me. I feel as though I get to visit with one of you and experience each of the nuances of your personalities. For me, you, Ryan, and the others, too, are like an old friend that I can visit with as I view your videos. So, no apologies wanted. You're my pleasure.😇
Fabulous tour round pai nice to see it like this natural and rustic instead of holiday company’s promoting it thank you Ryan it’s not boring it’s beautiful and natural as life should be
Another great video. I enjoy your whole relaxed laid back persona (not boring). I'm currently in the process of moving from Pattaya to Rural area outside of Chiang Mai. Always a pleasure watching you and your family,
Great video Ryan. My mom lives in Pai and goes to that Jazz bar often. Haven’t been to Pai myself since 2015, can’t wait to go back and enjoy that fresh Thai mountain air. Love those cheap bamboo huts by the river!😂🙏⛰️🇹🇭
Excellent little walk around Ryan. I only had a very fleeting visit to Pai as I was intent on riding the loop but I regret not slowing it down so i could have had a better look around. Nothing wrong with spending a minimum amount on accommodation when, like you said it's just a place to sleep mostly. I would do the same for sure. I really must get back to Pai and this time I will chill out there for a while
Love Pai and have played up there myself. Nice to see you are a musician. Before moving here I was the touring bassist for Smokey Robinson’s former Motown group The Miracles and a studio musician in LA for many years. Now I have my own group playing around Hua Hin.
Nice to see Pai. Haven't been in a long time. Love it! Nice and chilled out. I was thinking that even though it's early morning, it still seemed very quiet
About the best view, you are hilarious! They are looking at a shack, and you are looking at their 3000 baht place.. You turned the tables, no doubt who`s got the best view 😂😂 Thanks for the video, I do love them very much! Pai looks really nice 😊😊 And btw, you don` t have a boring vibe in your body 😉
Pai is always the destination for vacation for you Ryan.good to chatting with the westerners.and also the vibe seems like live in the Summer in west at this time.If you stay at home all the whole year.maybe made you depress you need to play musics and jam with friends and musicians from Uk. people.
Enjoy you're video's lived Thailand since 2004 most of the time in Buriram glad to here you say you will always be classed as a farang very honest of you
Thailand is larger than California and South Carolina combined. Pai is a great. place to have a chill Thai mountain experience. I usually stay at a place just downstream from the Pai River Bridge you started the video on. Nice walk up walking street, one of my vids has the same walk at night when the vendors have taken the street and autos are excluded.. Although Mae Hong Son has some very photographic sites, I like Pai, there is more to do. That is a nice closing shot of the Sunflower Fields, that is a combination of Mexican and Japanese sunflowers.
Memories! We've stayed on that corner twice, most recently in July, at the Family House by the bridge construction. Such a quiet, beautiful river strip, Grateful Dead jam at the jazz lounge, a walk away from the not so quiet. Hi from Minnesota USA
Enjoyed your vlog Ryan, we stayed next to the Jazz House listening to the cool sounds last week, your right those twisting mountain passes would have been too much for Otis, at least with your own transportation you can control your journey, but those Pai minivan drivers are notorious for driving like madmen on the wrong side of the road, I would never use them again.
Ryan, I thoroughly enjoyed the Pai walk around. It definitely looked to be quit there, but I would imagine it wakes throughout the day. I will be visiting in a couple of weeks. I will be spending time in Sukhothai with her family. Ken
We stayed in the resort type place next to the Jazz House, man that Jazz house ram jam packed! Way to busy for us. So we sat on our patio and listened to the awesome music. Pai was nice, I enjoyed it. The drive up to Pai fantastic, but i'd prefer Kho Chang any day!
Love this video Ryan! My husband, Colin and I have never been to Pai but are now dying to check it out! We’ve seen your other videos in there & this was wonderful to watch….thanks for sharing and cannot wait to see more 😊
I like watching all you guys blogging in Thailand really interesting. But one suggestion to all you guys would be when you are on your travels just to start with a pin on a map just so we can see what area of Thailand you are in. Especially for people who would like to plan a trip out and put together an itinerary 👍. Keep up the good work like this road trip meeting people living on all budgets in different ways.
😂 how can ANYONE say your are boring. Tell em to trot on. Really honest advice and just one of the best vlogs on YT. ps.. got the job.. will pay a bit of cash into your main channel now 😉 enjoy Pai
"I may be boring, but I'm consistent" Alrighty then. 555 Adjectives such as Inquisitive, observant, friendly, giving.... come to mind . Wonderful cinematographer as well on these little walkabouts. It's all good man. Pai reminds me of Jerome and Sedona, AZ, Madrid, NM, Boulder, CO and other places in the USA I visited 40+ years ago on adventures. Peace, Love, and Happy travels brother. The B-52's would call those the Love Shacks
i would love to stay in one of the places over the river, but as you were saying the bridges non consitant and i dont want to walk like 30 min to get to town.
Cheap Charlie or not, travelling on a budget says one of those shacks will be perfect for me when visiting Pai. I'm same as you Ryan, I prefer to not to waste money unnecessarily & definitely not materialistic. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for your morning "babble" Ryan, most interesting. As someone who has not ventured further North than Leoi it looks like Pai is a good place to visit on the cheap. I do like a good bargain as my retirement funds are limited by the UK State Pension policy of freezing the amount at the level it was when you decided to live in Thailand, in my case 2013! I am fascinated by the whole of that Northern area so am following your vlogs with interets as I would like to visit that area sometime, although my wife is less keen. As always thanks for sharing and God bless you and the family at home. 😀❤🙏
If you are boring and you consistently babble on I am personally loving all of it. Continue babbling I say. Cheers Ryan Lynne from Nr Stockport now Australia
You said you take allot of pictures of women’s clothing I would love to see it and so would my friends we were in Thialand and bought lots of clothing,😊
@thenakedguru some say you're boring eh, Ryan? You say you're consistent. So does that make you a 'consistently boring cheap Charlie'? 🤣 🤣 🤣 Whatever they say, I'm really enjoying your (and Damo's) work ❤
As long as it doesn't come at the expense of the locals, it's okay to be Cheap Charlie once in a while. But I realize very quickly that my lifestyle is not compatible with this way of living and being!😂
Was pumping with people when I was there in mid January 2015 so wasn't impressed, mind you I had the best coconut shake ever. Probably worth going back and having another look at a different time of the year. I'd nearly finished cycling the Mae Hong Son loop and thought Pai would be a nice place to chill. Back then i paid 400 baht for a fan room at Tayai's Guest House so what you paid is a bargain in todays money.
Spent 15 years spending 300 baht max on accommodation in LOS including Pai but spoilt myself during covid in Phuket.Great aircon rooms usually 1500 for 500 baht. But now i find it hard to go back.Getting older and softer but the posher places just don't have the vibe of the backpacker shacks.Great vid Ryan.

Fabulous tour round pai nice to see it like this natural and rustic instead of holiday company’s promoting it thank you Ryan it’s not boring it’s beautiful and natural as life should be
Always interesting and entertaining . . Enjoyable video love seeing these places as I never now get to see them

Thanks for the Tour of Pi. Keep babbling on. It’s not boring. 😂😂
Pai seems to be a nice Place to hang out, thanks for showing it once more.
Great video as always.
Your narration is always relaxing to listen to.
Thank you,
Rob from Bolton
Glad you enjoyed it Bob!

The streets look amazingly clean....
Nice to see Pai again, thanks
Thanks for sharing. Nice view of a small village in Thailand. Watching from Florida.
Another interesting tourist selfie here, thanks for filming yourself!
Enjoy and keep up the interesting work.
Very welcome 👍

I really must get back to Pai and this time I will chill out there for a while
It's so quiet and relaxed there. I remember walking across that bamboo bridge or the one like it in 2004 with my wife at the time.
i stayed at the place next to Jazz House from Dec 28th-Jan1 this year. My first time in Pai. It's nice to see again.
We love to hear you Babble on mate
Good to see Pai doing well! Cheers
Thanks Alex 🙏🙏
Beautiful video.

You definitely got the better view. Love your videos maybe we will bump into each other when myself and the wife move there next year.🎉
Respect Ryan, I respectfully agree on the, never was, never will be sentiment. It is what it is.
Enjoy you're video's lived Thailand since 2004 most of the time in Buriram glad to here you say you will always be classed as a farang very honest of you
Pai is village of Love 🤗😊🫰❤️
Really loving all the content! it really fits my lifestyle. Also I really like the "babbling" so please babble on!!! Love from Japan.

I'm more boring but definitely less consistent! Working on the latter.
Loving all your videos Ryan, and your approach to life and those you love .
Thank you Steven
Would have been nice to see inside the shack 👍
Haven't been to Pai for a while. Love Pai and that area and I agree with you on the massage women.
Ryan, I thoroughly enjoyed the Pai walk around. It definitely looked to be quit there, but I would imagine it wakes throughout the day. I will be visiting in a couple of weeks. I will be spending time in Sukhothai with her family. Ken

Thanks for sharing.
Headed to Pai this November. Great video. Do you mind telling me what camera and microphone you use?
This is DJI pocket 2 👍
Babble away, always interesting 😊

I have to head pt hip hi again next month, think i will take Otis this time!
I may be boring, but I'm consistent - consistently boring! Hahahaha Ryan, you're hilarious.
Can’t wait for the hill tribe Ryan
I’ve finished filing it so it could be a little disappointing as I stayed mainly on their small town but captured some of the locals anyway 😊🙏
If you are boring and you consistently babble on I am personally loving all of it. Continue babbling I say. Cheers Ryan Lynne from Nr Stockport now Australia
You defo got the better view and change left over 😂
how far is pai from Bangkok
Like to get back up that way again sometime.
Keep babbling along Ryan…oh, and your view at 300 baht won.
🤣🤣🙏🙏
Why not sidewalks in Thailand ?
Mad Englishmen go out in the mornings sun. ;-) 😎
In Australia, Charlie is slang for coke. Different video than I was expecting 😂
🤯 👍 🙏
You said you take allot of pictures of women’s clothing I would love to see it and so would my friends we were in Thialand and bought lots of clothing,😊
Spot on about the older and larger Thai ladies for a proper massage 👍
👍😎
@thenakedguru some say you're boring eh, Ryan? You say you're consistent. So does that make you a 'consistently boring cheap Charlie'? 🤣 🤣 🤣 Whatever they say, I'm really enjoying your (and Damo's) work ❤
So I do not need a work permit in Thailand Ryan?
You not cheap Charlie.just careful.
Totally unique better than those sanitary hotels
You do have the better view! Hilarious.
😂😂😂 that’s the first 7-11 I have seen like that in Thailand!🤣🤣🤣
Shack view, as in life, it’s all about how you look at it!
💙🤍🖤💙🤍🖤💙🤍💯🖤
As long as it doesn't come at the expense of the locals, it's okay to be Cheap Charlie once in a while.
But I realize very quickly that my lifestyle is not compatible with this way of living and being!😂
It supports those that own the shack 😁
So for a legal Work permit it's who you know and money above the law?
I’d love to move here as soon as possible. I’m from the US and I’m not even happy here anymore
we subscribe for the babbling hahah
🤣🙏
Shabby chic Ryan 😂

Why is that 7/11 any different than any other in Thailand?
Do a lot of older Thai men have alcohol addictions ?
Baja or Tex Mex ? Mexican
555
I thought I was a cheap Charlie until I saw this.
1❤
What is your opinion on how to meet an intellectual Thai woman that is very fluent in English?
consistently boring :)
Thanks Ryan. Thats another destination for me. Love staying in some old shacks: apart from the mozzies…🦟
🙏😁🇹🇭
