In 20 years as a Alliance equipment tech, I’ve only found maybe 2-3 actual bad m414704 thermistors.
It’s almost Always an unplugged thermistor or a broken/rotted wire or connector.
If a thermistor Actually goes bad, it’s typically an SH (shorted) alarm display, not an OP.

I agree with you and your experience. I created this video after Alliance was having vender issues with the thermistor. The original thermistors that looked like twisted wires dipped in plastic were very problematic and unreliable. Still a good video on what types of errors can occur with thermistors. Perhaps a little diagnosis? Maybe use a multimeter on its Ohms setting to verify an open circuit in the sensor?

On my speed queen it appears E dS. Then FL and then S 6. What could it be?

Hi, Karl.
My employee said the dryer was running and she heard "an explosion" which caught her attention and made her look at the dryer. The dryer stopped spinning and E OP appeared on the digital display.
I'm wondering, does that sound right? "An explosion"? Reviewed the surveillance cameras to look for any "explosion" type of activity, bright lights, a flash of some kind. None. All I could see was my employee and two customers look at the dryer at the same time when the "explosion" happened.
If you could provide any feedback about my concern of "an explosion" that would be great. Any experience you might have...?

I have a commercial speed queen washer and it is not working. I have clothes and filled with water with the door in lock position. When it is on the edl light flashes. I have powered down the washer and nothing happens. What is the solution.

I don’t know for sure but an rot error sounds like a rotation error. Does the dryer drum turn? Possible broken belt??
