OH Man!!! I was just looking at the 7 strings Ibanez is currently offering and saw that they had this beast.. nice to see one of my favorite UA-cam metal heads had one to show off.. I remember when i was about 19 and they released the 1077xl and i really wanted a 27’ scale ibby 7... glad to see they revamped it a tad and released this one!!

I have an xvv and haven't played another guitar like it great tools made by some cool folks.
Pretty dense and tight. A good gym for your fingers (and a delight for the neighbours ;). Awesome machine, awesome playing. I feel better now somehow...

How does the neck feel? Sometimes my thumb hurts on the back of the neck or my wrist hurts on certain guitars.
it is really comfortable, like every neck of ibanez guitars that i've played

@@Kozhanich_i скорее всего, уже поздно, но вот у меня тоже 25,5 и имхо для 7-струнного дроп-ля подходит 10-70 (беру отдельно 70-ку эрни болл + пачку 10-46; на string tension calculator're выдает как раз равномерное натяжение, примерно как у других струн, именно 70-ка;). Меньшего калибра брать не советую - будут "сопли"
