Great looking deli sandwiches Barry. We love Shapiros and those sandwiches looked like what we get there. Can’t wait for the Gattis production, we ate at Gatti Town Friday and it was all delicious, salad bar was super fresh. Later buddy thanks as always!

I've always thought Stevens Deli (in the Dittos building on Bardstown Road) had the best reubens but I defiitely have to give this one a try!

Katz microwaved the turkey and gravy right in front of me. I spent $57 for 2 sandwiches with chips and a pickle. Champs was amazing!

Shapiro's up here in Indy is 19.75 for a Reuben, but what you had looked good to me.
Must have mistaken it for Katz price.
A Katz Reuben is around $30 now! ……and worth it, imo. Same with Shapiro’s. It’s pricey, but worth it. The Block is a steal for that price.

You are 💯 percent right about this place! I found them looking for a caterer for a work event. Now, eveytime we have a meeting everyone in the company requests The Block! They do a baked potato bar for catering and it is SO good. You've never had a baked potato till you've have one from there! And their salads would impress any carnivore....delicious!

Does the Reuben have sauerkraut or coleslaw on it? (I personally prefer coleslaw) And swiss cheese and Russian or Thousand Island dressing and marble rye. Looks fantastic! (There are some great Jewish deli out here in Los Angeles too. Sandwiches are in the $20-23 range.)

I went to that Gatti’s in Shepherdsville in 2019 and I was pretty disappointed. It wasn’t at all what I remembered when I was younger. Hopefully they’ve improved things again.
