One of my favourite is the Flex PXE80, really versatile cordless polisher. Used it today too, to polish a pair of headlights. Also I've just learned by "accident" a few weeks back that Milwaukee makes cordless DA polishers, so reached out to them to have some on loan to try. They were sport and gave me 3 of those for a few weeks to try. Really cool machines.
Test the Karcher OC3 cordelss low pressure washer. I have to wash my car without being able to use either socket or water. Good for people who use parking garages under their apt. complexes. The „bike” package allows also to use an external water supply i.e. an additional water source other than the built in. 4l tank!
I got the Milwaukee 15 maybe 7 months ago and love it. The fact I can quick charge a battery is great. I got the Milwaukee because I have the batteries. I need a minu though.
I have the dewalt 15 mms duel action polisher and the older spta 15 mm and I have the Toro 605 blower love all of them would like to see a comparison the dewalt against the Milwaukee and flex a and dewalt also the ego blower and the Toro love your show ty
Some people don’t think the Flex XFE15 isn’t powerful enough, but with the right skill it’s perfectly fine. I use the rotary version if I need a bit more power and cut.
Cordless has absolutely been the way to go for me. I have grown to hate cords! Can’t wait for Milwaukie to produce a 3 inch DA polisher, I will be the first in line.
Hi Pan! , I had tried The Shinemate Cordless Polisher , they are very good. I personally own 2 polisher from Shinemate brand but corded and i have been using it for the past 2-3 years and so far so Good without problems!🙏🏻
Very well done pan! Myself I'm a flex fan. 💪In my opinion the german technology is worth every penny. Would definitely like to see a shootout with the flex vs Milwaukee cordless polisher. Happy new year!! 🎉 🇨🇦
Corded tools rarely have the new brushless motor technology... Cordless do, and they tend to be more powerful with less heat and power usage. I have the Milwaukee dual battery blower, and for drying it is very fast
For corded blowers, if you’re on a budget, the Toro leaf blowers do quite well for $50-100. I used those for a few years to dry my car and bike before upgrading to an ego 650
The corded Toro blowers put out a lot of air! I have both a corded Toro and an Ego (cordless) and the Toro puts out quite a bit more air at a higher velocity. The price on the Toro is also very, very attractive. I love my Ego too.
I use a Worx Hydroshot with a few 5-gallon water jugs for winter washes when it's colder. I have the soap dispenser and adjustable head to make washing wheels and wheel wells easier. It's not as good as my electric pressure washer, but it knocks the dirt and salt off when it's too cold for my bigger set up.
@@PanTheOrganizer I have the 20V/4AH version. If you click it, you'll see the soap dispenser and accessories. Wish I would've seen the 40V version because the extra PSI and longer runtime would be nice.
The guy you’re standing next to at the flex booth with the jl showroom polo on is Justin, he works at the jl showroom here in Melbourne Florida pretty cool guy!
thanks for you reviews! however, imho: the "battery powered, cordless tools are usually way too bulky, heavy, and offer no "dust collection" feature capability. I'm done with cordless" power tools, and, I prefer air tools, over corded tools, for the same reasons (weight, size, and convenience)...
Hi pan please can you review the spta cordless polisher or shine mate 3" cordless? I have the spta pressure foam bottle and enjoy using it.i also have 2 battery and cordless sprayer for doing rinseless washing on by car when we had water shortage in the UK. It made it alot easier and quicker.?
Check out the Worx 40v nitro turbine blower. Light, easy to maneuver, battery last a long time. Phil did he review on it and preferred it over his EGO.
I bought this leaf blower and it’s awesome. I really like it and it matches my car, red..lol😂🚗 SKIL PWR CORE 40 Brushless 40V 500 CFM Cordless Leaf Blower Kit, Variable Spped with Power Boost, Includes 2.5Ah Battery and Auto PWR JUMP Charger - BL4713-10
I bought a few cordless drills and impact drivers too haha. I'm starting to move from my Dewalt and Makita over to the new Milwaukee stuff and so far, I'm impressed.
Pan asks, do you want a comparison video, the people cheer YES! For a future cordless polisher comparison video I would like to see the Dewalt offering included as I’m already invested in their eco system. Thanks!
I have better end results with corded polishers. I tried doing a 2005 Trailblazer with battery only, I ended up switching to corded. Seems like that year of GM clear coats required more aggressive correcting.
Since you already invested in the Milwaukee polisher, check out their new dual battery leaf blower. It would be a good comparison against the Ego. I have both Milwaukee tools and love them both.
I am starting a mobile detailing business and currently trying to decide what cordless line to get for my equipment. Also, trying to decide between the cheap models, or the larger extended capacity ones. They are so much more expensive I feel it might be better to get multiple normal sized ones over the large ones.

thank you Pan. I'm always enjoying your video and I just became a car wash enthusiast last summer because of you. just some questions here. i have all the chemicals and tools for car wash now but not polisher 1. Since you mentioned that you need a specific size of polisher for a specific task, what do I need for just general use like doors and engine hood? 2. i have some budget for only one polisher but not multiple polishers so maybe i'm thinking of polishing by hand for other parts where I need smaller size polishers. Is it doable? or physically impossible? what are the pros and cons? 3. what is the difference between a sander and a polisher?
One polisher can't do all the jobs, it's impossible. That's why we use different size polishers. If you can only purchase one to start, the one that does the most work is usually a 5" backing plate. I’m not sure if this question was answered already with all your other videos as I don’t have time to sift through all the comments but in regards to battery powered tools and branding, where would you put Milwaukee as a brand in general for a guy that’s sorta new with detailing? I’ve just received an M18 power drill for Christmas as well as some drill brushes and I’m buying myself the m18 forged 6.0 battery with the supercharger to go along with it to clean my interior. I’m also very interested on the m18 DA polisher so I’m thinking of getting another m18 forged for convenience. You also mentioned the Ego blower and its popularity within the detail community but since I’m investing into the Milwaukee brand, what are your thoughts on their new two battery m18 blower? I’ve seen the 3D printed stubby nose attachment for the blower readily available on Etsy that could rival the Ego’s short tip. Thanks for your time and I appreciate all your hard work and content!

Definitely think battery tools in the detailing industry is making good progress. I use the iK foamer to clean wheels and it does get old having to pump every time. I know they have the air filled foamer as well but battery operated is much easier. Might be time for me to make the switch!
A bit off topic. I have a 2021 Wrangler with black hood and side decals. They have a whitish hue likely from wax I used on them after being told it was ok. How can I get them back to original color then protect them? Thank you. Love your videos
I just bought the Rupes Bigfoot Nano Ibrid (Jan 2023), hope it lives up to to expectation. I plan to use it polish the headlights on my Hyundai I30 (as the top of the head lights have a peeled like appearance, 10 year old car) after I do the wet/dry sanding followed by the polishing and then UV spray coating to get 1 year protection. I am using the Turtle Wax version to fix the headlight. My question for Pan is would an additional ceramic coat after the UV protection coat give longer protection to the headlights.
After you’re done polishing, use an IPA or paint prep to remove polishing oils and simply apply a ceramic coating. That will be your longest lasting protection and it already has UV protection.
Thanks for the excellent video! I wonder if people realize, Flex is the inventor of the original angle grinder, which over time evolved into buffers and polishers. Their grinders and polishers are superb. They are now owned by Chervon, one of the biggest power tool manufacturers in the world. You get a lot of technology with Flex. I wish batteries were more standardized, so I could use Milwaukee batteries or Makita batteries in everything. I do not own anything from Rupes, but I really like what I see. I am looking closely at a few models. The Rupes 12 volt battery looks a lot like the Milwaukee M12, which looks like a few other batteries to be honest. I own many Milwaukee tools, corded, M12, and M18. There are many things I like about them. I do not own the M18 polishers, not yet anyway. I do have an older, corded, Milwaukee rotary buffer. It's 30 years old, very heavy, and will run forever. Not delicate, but if you need a tank of a polisher, that's it. I do have a pistol grip M12 polisher that I use with a 3 inch pad on small stuff. It's very nice. I use a M18 leaf blower to dry, and it's not as powerful as your Ego. Still plenty powerful though! I want a short top for it like you have. BTW, Ego is also owned by Chervon, like Flex. I have a couple of Milwaukee M12 die grinders I use with some Roloc wheels to clean wheel hubs or corrosion and debris when I do wheels off the car. Other detailers might look at those, especially if you are in the M12 line.
Cordless is getting more intriguing. Could you do a review on the new Griots Cordless foamer/sprayer? Please! I would like to purchase something Cordless for a sprayer. Thanks for the cool review.
Hello Pan ,merci pour la vidéo pour la part j ai la flex pxe 80 et la flex xfe 15 125 18.0 deux très bonnes machines d'une robustesse incroyable et pour les travaux de polissage au top 👍👍👍
Educational as always, Pan, thanks for sharing! If you do a cordless leaf blower evaluation, Makita makes a small hand held blower that I'd be interested in seeing how it performs as a car dryer (I have a few other Makita tools, so I already have the spare batteries, etc.). Anyhow, thanks again for sharing, hope you had a good Christmas, and best wishes for a Happy and Prosperous New Year! May your best day in 2022 be your worst day in 2023!
I cannot wait to try out the Solo 460 this spring and probably like everyone else I will be using it exclusively with a rinseless wash, and in my case P&S Absolute. I had it in my Black Friday basket but decided to switch gears and build my Continental Hose bucket filler solution instead. Just waiting on a 60 gallon Tamco tank for my apartment garage and Prevost ball valve and it should be finished. In the distant future I will consider the Milwaukee polisher since I've only used my G9 once and I just got a G8 and I will talk more about the Rupes in your other video. The stubby nozzle has been a game changer for me last summer.. Despite all the naysayers, isn't it awesome?
Pan, do you offer a training video on how to properly detail a car using tools and chemicals. There's sooo much information, products, ceramic coats, etc. I can't be the only one who's lost.
I have a bunch of videos where I show how to fully detail a car. Here’s a recent one: ua-cam.com/video/gohks8xP5NY/v-deo.html And you’ll find over 800 videos on my channel covering all topics.
I was hoping you would do a video on the M18. I bleed red for my tools. This solidifies my decision on dropping the dollars on the kit. I certainly would like to try the PXE 80 as well
I bought the RYOBI cordless as my first polisher and i would like you to test it. Not sure what settings to use as it stalls out on their recommendations but that might be my inexperience.
I have the foam sprayer and strictly use it for brake buster for wheels n rims. I really love it. No time wasted pumping after each tire. Just spray and go. I've done at least 15 cars in charge. I'm debating on getting the solo sprayer. Pan do you think you use the solo with certain waxes like hydro2 or things of that sort?
Would like to see the ShineMate Cordless Orbital Polisher (with Brushless Motor) in the roundup. Since last year I personally own the 3 inch and 5 inch version and am really excited by the quality of the product. (Also own the rupes Nano ibrid). I really love the cordless machines, so easy to just correct a little scratch after a maintenance wash without having to think about the power cords that are most of the time full with sand etc. Pan keep up the good work, and best wishes for 2023!

Okay, I'm totally happy with the usual advice I see here on the channel.... I bought a 2002 Z3 last year. I learned that the clear coat flakes off in 70-90% of the cars. On the advice of this channel, I used turtle wax black... Honestly, it looks like steroids on crack. I'll continue to use this forever. Please let me know if there is something better stilll... BTW, a paint shop told me they can't make their renewed paint look better than ceramic treatment (let's allow for this and that divided by cost)
I'm assuming you are talking about the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Acrylic Ceramic Black Spray Wax? That lasts 4 to 6 months. They have a newer and better product in my opinion, that can last upwards of 9 months. I reviewed it here: ua-cam.com/video/b5BjDzItlr8/v-deo.html And thanks for the trust you place in my opinion. Hi Pan, Happy New Year ! ! ! ! ! I have a proposal for your consideration. Am watching the Awards and wait them every year assume as all the week end warriors. What about making another series covering only the “hardware” such as microfibers, polishing mahcines, foam guns, pressure washers, spray bottles, etc. etc. ? I know it is already too much for the products hence having the tools in another video will cover the whole range. Take good care and keep on with your amazing videos and tips/tricks
Heheh yeah that would be a bit too complex and would cost a fortune, already that I spend tens of thousands yearly on detailing products, equipment, tools, it's just insane. But usually, I already present the best stuff that I discover during the year. Maybe I'll reunite them at the end of the year in one single awards video for equipment, if that's what you meant. Happy new year
Pan, please do the comparison between the flex and the Milwaukee, can you give me some advices about the Milwaukee, i’m a Weekend warrior, with no experience in polish machines, and just bought the Milwaukee… how many rpms is recomendable for compound, polish and wax? Love your content, Greetings from Mexico
Always looking for the next generation battery powered power washers. Waiting for them to be as powerful as a gas powered one as quiet as a corded electric. That would be cool. I tried the Dewalt battery powered and it was weak. Maybe you can help find one ?
I haven't seen a powerful enough battery powered pressure washer yet. The best one I have seen is this: amzn.to/3GaM5RE And it's still just 725 psi. You need 1000 to 2000 psi to have a good washing experience in my opinion.
I have three high end blowers, including the high end Master Blaster Revolution. I have a video on all three blowers here: ua-cam.com/video/4up2Atg4ks0/v-deo.html Before cordless blowers were a thing, people were using corded car dryers which were built for that specific purpose. Like anything, technology progresses, and people find different ways to use tools. In the case of the leaf blowers, people found they can do a good job at drying cars, and they're more practical as they're cordless, so it was a natural progression to start using those instead. Then you have people like me, who just like having the best of the best and different versions of it. Hence why I have many blowers. It's a sickness, I know. Just like I have dozens and dozens of sneakers in my collection, tons of headphones in my collection, etc. It's hard to explain.
Hello Pan I got a question, of topic from the subject of machines but🙂 I got some older cars (25+ years), with the once black plastic bumpers and trim has turned grey. I know its because the oils, and i know the trick with heatgun/ hairdryer, but how do you get that to last? Or if theres another tip or trick that could help, i would apreciate it🙂 Thanks a lot
The heatgun really just brings up a few oils in the plastic, but doesn't really restore anything long term. You need a proper trim restorer. Here are two of the best options for faded and oxidized plastics: bit.ly/3WJjoT8 amzn.to/3Z6ehxP
Hi Pan unrelated question. Needs some tips on removing paint transfer. The paint transfer is from hitting the side of a garage. I have all types of LC pads and I have URO Fiber from Buff and shine but I will need to order compound also Any recommendations?
@@PanTheOrganizer It’s Funny you sent me this video I watched Larry before I reached out to you He’s located in my home state. I’ll give it a try thank you.
Love the Flex and Rupes brand they're like you said top notch! I've got an older flex and still runs beautifully! I prefer a waffle pad vs a flat pad just me but rupes makes a phenomenal product and pads. I'm waiting to try their uno advanced it looks phenomenal. Pan you are very wise and helpful! Any way we can help against the mechanical abrasions we take over the years is great. I hope Isabel (forgive me if I misspelled), Andy yourself and your family have a happy new year
Another great vid! Dear Pan, i got some question about Polish machines.. I was trying to buy -> Flex pxe 80. Rupes big foot ibid longneck. Rupes Bigfoot hlr75. Rupes bigfoot lhr15 Mark III. what u prefer or what should i buy ? Or what machine are same or are they difference ?
They are all different machines and different sizes. It's not a question of which one is the best, they all serve different purposes. The HLR75 mini (cordless) and Flex PXE 80 are both 3" machines. I prefer the Rupes. The Rupes iBrid Nano is a 1" or 2" machine for smaller more intricate areas. Also important. And the LHR15 MKIII is the 15mm stroke for 80% of the work. It's the main machine and the first one you buy for your polisher arsenal.

How about the Dewalt DA Polisher?
Thanks! If many viewers want me to look into the Dewalt polisher, I will make it happen. 👍🏻
@text1573 Awesome I just texted from my phone, area code is 910
I have better end results with corded polishers.

Thanks Robert!
thank you Pan. I'm always enjoying your video and I just became a car wash enthusiast last summer because of you.
just some questions here.
i have all the chemicals and tools for car wash now but not polisher
I use the Dewalt polisher, I've been using it for close to a year and I really like it. It's very well built.
Is it a dual action?

🎊 🎉end of the year upload, thank you 🙏 pan for not missing a beat. Happy New Year . Let’s go harder in 2023
Happy new year!!
Definitely think battery tools in the detailing industry is making good progress. I use the iK foamer to clean wheels and it does get old having to pump every time. I know they have the air filled foamer as well but battery operated is much easier. Might be time for me to make the switch!
Yeah tremendous progress has been made, and I'm looking forward to 2023! Happy new year!
@@PanTheOrganizer Same to you!
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Nice video Pan, happy new year

Cordless is getting more intriguing. Could you do a review on the new Griots Cordless foamer/sprayer? Please! I would like to purchase something Cordless for a sprayer. Thanks for the cool review.

There will be something else coming soon about the M18 on my channel, so stay tuned! :)
Toujours un plaisir de lire la vidéo

Let’s see the comparisons on the polishers and cordless blowers. Thanks
Thanks for watching Scott!
I bought the RYOBI cordless as my first polisher and i would like you to test it. Not sure what settings to use as it stalls out on their recommendations but that might be my inexperience.
If a polisher stalls, usually it's a sign you might be applying too much pressure. Back off a bit, and keep the pad rotating.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for the advice. I saw another youtuber recommend running it at a higher speed so I'm not entirely sure
You could try, I haven't used it for spray on rinse off formulas, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
Awesome video/comparison/product review good friend

Would like to see the ShineMate Cordless Orbital Polisher (with Brushless Motor) in the roundup. Since last year I personally own the 3 inch and 5 inch version and am really excited by the quality of the product. (Also own the rupes Nano ibrid).
I reviewed it here: ua-cam.com/video/b5BjDzItlr8/v-deo.html

The best one I have seen is this: amzn.to/3GaM5RE
And it's still just 725 psi. You need 1000 to 2000 psi to have a good washing experience in my opinion.
Can you please make a video on more budget friendly options? Those $100 cordless polishers off amazon for example? or SPTA mini cordless polisher?
I made a video on affordable polishers here: ua-cam.com/video/LvPCkCqXEq0/v-deo.html
Great content. If the Ego blower is "more power than you would ever need" for drying, why would someone buy the Master Blaster?
I have three high end blowers, including the high end Master Blaster Revolution. I have a video on all three blowers here: ua-cam.com/video/4up2Atg4ks0/v-deo.html
Before cordless blowers were a thing, people were using corded car dryers which were built for that specific purpose.
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you so much for the incredibly thoughtful response. keep up the great work!
Hello Pan
I got a question, of topic from the subject of machines but🙂
I got some older cars (25+ years), with the once black plastic bumpers and trim has turned grey. I know its because the oils, and i know the trick with heatgun/ hairdryer, but how do you get that to last? Or if theres another tip or trick that could help, i would apreciate it🙂
Thanks a lot
The heatgun really just brings up a few oils in the plastic, but doesn't really restore anything long term. You need a proper trim restorer. Here are two of the best options for faded and oxidized plastics:

Flex pxe 80.
