- Just hit 4,000 Miles on the 2023 Ford F-150 so here is a review about how its driven so far. This has been a great truck so far. It drives so smooth and has plenty of power with the 5.0L V8 engine. I use this truck for work pulling trailers and it has had no problem. The tow/haul mode and the sport mode have both worked very well.

I love seeing base model trucks, that can still be optioned out with 4X4, V8 and crew cab!! Good review sir!
Beautiful truck color. And you picked the perfect long term powertrain!
Thank you and I agree!
Congrats.. just got approved for mine..picking it up the weekend. Even though its the base modle.. its loaded to me! I got the reg cab, 5.0 2wd short bed... for a reason.😎👍🏻☕️
Man I'm a steel wheel hub cap guy. I love the look with those steel wheels
Smart to put aftermarket rims and tires on it. Ford (and every manufacturer) wants to charge you an arm and a leg for the nice rims and a little lift. Nice truck, enjoy!
Great vid, thank you. Totally agree, these base model XLs look awesome. So basic, so clean... love it!
Love your truck brother looks really nice. I love these F-150 V8 coyotes
I have 2019 4x4 with the 5.0, My average MGP is 21. about 85 percent mountain highways. some surface streets on both ends of the daily drive. Just have to keep your foot out of it when accelerating (after the newness of power wares off) :)
Very difficult to keep my foot out of the gas with this truck! Lol
I own 22 5.0 and sound from engine is awesome
Yes I love the sound of the 5.0!
Big Ford man here . Good luck with your new truck and enjoy that coyote
Love seeing a base model with the right essentials = Coyote V8, 4x4, Key turn start. Enjoy and drive it well!
I got the hot pepper red platinum, added ceramic coating on entire truck, dirt comes off easily, ad matching color fender flares with wheel wel inserts. I love it, getting 25 mog
yes love that color f150
I have a 22 150 xl supercab with 8 ft bed, same drive train it's great, no trailer on road in eco moad gets around 26mpg, my landscape trailer around town gets about 19 , travel trailer 33 ft. 7000 lbs 11.5 is my average and does all 3 very well..
I am surprised by the gas mileage. Not surprised by the performance compared to the Raptor since the XL is much lighter. The Raptor is still the faster truck. I loved my 3.5 F-150. Missed the V8 sound.
That's perplexing on the mileage. I have a 23 Tremor V8 and I'm getting around 19 mpg combined in a semi-rural setting over the last 1300 miles (no towing yet). Maybe the computer is overestimating on mine, but I only checked the first couple tanks after I got the truck in March, and they were very close to actual. I know I don't have to fuel up near as often as I did in my Tundra. The biggest differences between our trucks are my 3:73 diffs and 33" tires, which by all accounts should hurt my mpg by comparison. I'll pay closer attention after the next fill-up. Peace, Love!!
Nice Truck, To Me Less is More From what I've Read The Power TRAIN In Your Truck Is The Way To GO! Thanks for your excellent report!
Nothing looks better than black, but I’m way to lazy for black, that is a beautiful truck!, I’ve got a 20172.7 Ecoboost been a awesome truck, you can get 20 mpg, but you gotta drive it real real real easy to get it and it makes no sound compared to that fry coyote sound.
15mpg with 400hp not too shabby
I have the 2013 f150 5.0 n I’ll tell u, yes it’s got all the power u need. Speed, 4+4 ant towing. It’s the best bang 4d buck
ty for the vid, great clips
That's a $65 000 truck up here in Canuckistan.....f*cking crazy.
Great looking truck!
How much did this cost you? Out the door price?
I like the lack of chrome. Definitely needs some sweet black rims.
Waiting for the new wheels.
Beautiful, put 33x12.50r17s on it without level, it'll be sweet.
Nice truck
Any noise from the rear leaf springs? My 22 F150 makes noise from a dead stop every time. Im getting 16mpg with a 6" lift and 35's.
What is your payload capacity? Trying to decide to get a crew or supercab. Thx
What is the gear ratio?
Kinda sounds like it has everything my XLT has.
Does it have the yellow plastic oil plug?
Where did you get that steering wheel cover?
did you order if off ford website?
reading the window sticker at my local dealer looks like they r doing away wit stop start but nobody has a good way of dealing with cylinder deactivation I think that is a deal breaker if you plan .. keep truck longterm I don't consider running around town in sport or tow a viable option I wish range had a plug in afm/dfm like for gm ............anyway they are way to expensive my 04 4.6l I bought new still tows my bass boat just fine
The cylinder deactivation was a concern for me too. I went with a 22 5.0 because I just think the V8 will last longer and I don’t even notice the cylinder deactivation other than the mpg meter jumping up to 30 when in 4 cyl mode.
I have 22 XLT 5.0 and I love the ride compared to the 15 I traded in. I did get 19 mpg with the 15 5.0 but I’m only seeing 16 on the new one so far. It does have a lot idle time in that average though.
US MADE !
Mud mode is in FX4 package
I don’t have the FX4 package but iI do have a mud/ruts mode and a deep snow/sand mode.
@@10xdynamiccustoms wow interesting
@@10xdynamiccustoms i just realized my mistake
