Thank you for this video. I’m hoping you see this comment I have a question. I just inherited a 2014 F150 5.0 FX4 and she’s got 93K on it. Clean solid truck. Just a few parts needed. I’m actually a ford mechanic and wanted to know what you’ve experienced from going from 100k to almost 200K on your truck. Any parts or service along the way etc if you wouldn’t mind!? Also on my 5.0 I’m actually replacing the Cam sensors and rear VVT sensors (all underneath valve cover, there’s actually 8 of them, 4 on each side; 2 in front-VVT Sensors and 2 in rear of engine-Cam sensors) keep this in mind just looking out for ya two things! Chances are these 8 sensors were prob already replaced on your truck but figured I’d let you know lol Also be aware of this: -Make sure your valve cover Bolts don’t/aren’t rusted OUT!!! If so try replacing them before you end up havivg to bash sockets/drill out/or use other special tools in or to remove those rusted out bolts! -Other thing to be aware of!!! If you ever need your cam sensors (driver side) replaced… the firewall stops you from removing one of them, there’s only two ways to get the sensor out, either drop the motor or drill a whole in the firewall (yea I know) but I’ve saved customers 10k each instead of dropping their front end just to replace a rear cam sensors by drilling out a small hole out of the firewall stops wall!

for the tailgate, when my 00 was 12 years old the handle wouldn't work. The hooks on the corners were getting stuck, I cleaned them and sprayed lithium grease. Worked fine after that, think I only had to respray like once in the 8 years I owned it. Im looking to get one of these soon and in this color. There's something about this generation and it looks so good with the grey body and black wheels. I've seen some with the red ford emblems around and it just looks really nice.

I bought my 2014 F150 3.5 Ecoboost with 20,000 at a year old and the smartest thing I did was buy a warranty. I love my truck especially the power and gas mileage. Replaced rear main seal 75,000 miles replaced 6R80 transmission at 96,000 My best advice is to purchase an additional warranty after that factory warranty runs out, $9300 for a transmission would really be a bummer. I have replaced the heater motor twice, both turbos, a tune up and a brake job including rotors; but that was my choice. I live in Alaska where the roads and weather kill trucks; love my truck and it’s a sweet ride. Hmm I did buy 8 steel rims for winter and summer tires those factory alloy rims corrode. Does not leak or burn oil, but that’s another reason to keep a warranty lol

I am surprised by the gas mileage. Not surprised by the performance compared to the Raptor since the XL is much lighter. The Raptor is still the faster truck. I loved my 3.5 F-150. Missed the V8 sound.

Original transmission? I hear this ego bad at 150k mikes. Is your engine consuming oil at this mileage?

Any noise from the rear leaf springs? My 22 F150 makes noise from a dead stop every time. Im getting 16mpg with a 6" lift and 35's.

So 200k miles and nine years old, and your bitching about paint fading and a few parts breaking? Grow the fuck up. Fords hold up a hell of a lot better than chevys and dodges. And judging from how filthy the engine bay is, you clearly dont care about routine maintenance on your truck. No wonder the tailgate sticks, you need to open the rear panel and clean the shit out of there and lubricate it. I have a 2004 F150 lariat that has over 600k kilometers on it and all i have done is routine mainenance, and it runs like a top. Body has no rust, engine still has plenty of power, transmission is solid. Take care of your truck, it will take care of you. Quit your bitching...

Hi. I Just Bought this truck (basically) and it has aftermarket Fox performance series shocks.... my question is this, I have noticed that when I back up in Reverse....there is a noise that appears (from the back end area i think)... and once it makes 'the noise' One time, then it does not continue to make noise. Thoughts? First things you would look at? is it the bottom leaf spring clapping up to hit the other leaf springs maybe? The first time I heard it, I thought I ran over a little metal something that was left in the grass - that I might have backed over...

I'm currently driving the 2021 Blazer RS, and the power is amazing, and very fun to drive. The 9 speed transmission shifts very smoothly, and the gas mileage is great. I like the sound and simplicity of the naturally aspirated V6. I really think the interior is very nice and simple. The red highlights and stitching really add to the look. And I'm glad they didn't go all digital on the dash. I like the analog displays. I just think it looks better. And the 8 inch infotainment is plenty and looks good. There's no reason for anything more. I get 20mpg in the city, and as much as 30mpg on the highway..!! For some reason, I just can't keep it out of sport mode...lol The car really jumps when you put the pedal down. I have found that it really surprises people in other vehicles how fast this car can jump off the line and accelerate so quickly to 80mph...lol It's a very nice looking sporty suv. Mine is the Dark Red with black outlines, and the 21 inch black wheels with 265/45 tires. Enjoy your ride.

I have a 22 150 xl supercab with 8 ft bed, same drive train it's great, no trailer on road in eco moad gets around 26mpg, my landscape trailer around town gets about 19 , travel trailer 33 ft. 7000 lbs 11.5 is my average and does all 3 very well..

I got the hot pepper red platinum, added ceramic coating on entire truck, dirt comes off easily, ad matching color fender flares with wheel wel inserts. I love it, getting 25 mog

That's perplexing on the mileage. I have a 23 Tremor V8 and I'm getting around 19 mpg combined in a semi-rural setting over the last 1300 miles (no towing yet). Maybe the computer is overestimating on mine, but I only checked the first couple tanks after I got the truck in March, and they were very close to actual. I know I don't have to fuel up near as often as I did in my Tundra. The biggest differences between our trucks are my 3:73 diffs and 33" tires, which by all accounts should hurt my mpg by comparison. I'll pay closer attention after the next fill-up. Peace, Love!!

Just wanted to give you a heads up on the valve stems.... I put the metal ones on a previous GMC vehicle and they got corroded and fused to the stem during the winter months. Was a pain in the ass to remove them and put air in the tires. I eventually went back to just using the plain black plastic caps.

I like it and hope you have as good of luck as I have with my 2017 F150 XL, 90K and not the first problem, so far best vehicle I’ve ever owned!!!

Nothing looks better than black, but I’m way to lazy for black, that is a beautiful truck!, I’ve got a 20172.7 Ecoboost been a awesome truck, you can get 20 mpg, but you gotta drive it real real real easy to get it and it makes no sound compared to that fry coyote sound.

reading the window sticker at my local dealer looks like they r doing away wit stop start but nobody has a good way of dealing with cylinder deactivation I think that is a deal breaker if you plan .. keep truck longterm I don't consider running around town in sport or tow a viable option I wish range had a plug in afm/dfm like for gm ............anyway they are way to expensive my 04 4.6l I bought new still tows my bass boat just fine
