I note a Narrow boat with the name "Celtic Kiwi," Interesting combination. I am in New Zealand and a descendent of Irish immigrants who came here in 1863. I enjoy your videos. Thank you.
Hi Phil, that canal is so pretty. I know the branches can be a nuisance for you, but they are so scenic. Its a shame the crt moved the rubbish point! Another lovely relaxing vlog and music. Funny how the cats go in completely the opposite direction when leaving the boat!
Thanks Phil we only made it to Hinckley back in August. Low water because of the Coventry canal leaking water at the Atherston flight of locks and the CRT dragging their feet to get the lock gate fixed.
Love the beard!!....hope it stays! I have no explanation for this comment.....All of my 78 years on this planet I've admired a nicely bearded gentleman..😹😉
Lazy Saturday afternoon in cool temps over here across the big salty pond in western Pennsylvania (Merica). Anyway I’m enjoying your video so much. I can’t tell if the perfect music enhances the video / cruise or if they just both continually complement one another. Either way I say very well done. It’s an extremely pleasant vicarious canal trip for me.
The Boys go off in opposite directions down the towpath you wonder if one turns to the right and the other turns to the left and eventually end up meeting nose to nose.😸😸
Phill which is the oldest canal? I can invision it all through your songs. I have to wonder how long it took to dig 2,000 miles? Then cover every byway with bridges or aquaduct.! Amazing feat!! This canal is one of my favoritesl. 🤓❤ Your music makes it even more so! Thank you! Nice ridel 🤗😻😺. All the very best!
I'm not sure but the earliest ones like the Oxford canal were started in the late 1700's. The start of the industrial revolution. Of course rivers have been in use for a lot longer.
Hi Phil. I was wondering how is the hull thickness of your wonderful home after almost 34years ? I read somewhere that narrowboats have to be 4mm for insurance purposes although I may well be wrong ! Anyhoo keep up the great work & all the best 👽🖖
I wouldn't fancy carrying a bike down that flight stairs even worse on the return journey with all your purchases, very narrow road through the canal bridge looks more like a tube train tunnel.
@@NarrowboatJourneys I know what that is like I have breathing problems to, stairs can be a problem its stop start going up, downstairs becomes an obstacle course with a stick and Ginger Mog racing me to the bottom.😂🐈⬛🐈
What a really beautiful canal the Ashford is. Relaxing cruise. Great music. Beautiful cats. Thank you Phil
Thanks Phil. Another relaxing start to my week. That aqueduct looks stunning. Cheers.
I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you Phil.

Thanks for watching.
Just what the doctor ordered after a busy day, nice and relaxing. Thanks Phil 👍

Fantastic video Phil, I could have quite happily watched an hour of this, no problem.
Thank you. Not a lot of sunshine cruises this year.

I turned around at Market Bosworth. Shallow water, overhanging trees, and a very long way to the shops made life quite difficult.
It's like being on a jungle cruise and I love the sound of your boat and the music. ❤ Hope the cats are doing well and behaving. 😊
Thank you Dorothy.

I shave it off once every month or so. Not ready to look like Gandalf yet! ;-)
@@NarrowboatJourneys oh when the time comes you’ll look awesome!! Lol
Hi Phil i tried to purchase the new tune in Band Camp? But i could not switch it over to American Money?
I’ll try again later? 😵💫🤓
I don't know? Must be a Bandcamp glitch or something?
Enjoyed that video while having dinner.
Interesting viaduct.
Bunged you or Pussies a little something for your efforts. Cheers Philip.
Pete. 😀
Thanks Pete, very much appreciated.

Thank you very much. A lot of work goes into making the videos and music so it's great to be appreciated.

I struggle to breath normally at the best of times, so I avoid lots of steps if possible.

Funny how the cats always go their own way.
Very nice cruise, but how long have you been on the Ashby now? Is there a force field surrounding it?
There's no rush to be anywhere.
