With the New Year’s, I had not had time to watch this video, but I’ve been wanting to watch it just from your title alone. I agree with you and Edward. I don’t think James Gunn really knows how to run a business but again he’s new at it so I wanna give them at least the benefit of the doubt as a writer and director he has done amazing things no one knew who in the hell the guardians of the Galaxy were until James gunn the Batman being delayed that does suck but to be fair I’m far more excited for Batman the brave in the bold and I am for Matt Reeves‘s Batman. I just always want to see a more comic fantastical Batman than a grounded Batman. We’ve gotten the grounded Batman with Christopher Nolan, I really wanted to see clay face Mr. freeze things like that if brave the bold has been delayed because they’re moving away from Andy or because they’re not happy with Andy script I’m OK with that. I didn’t like the flash. I thought that movie sucked hard balls. I still can’t believe James Gunn actually came out and said that movie was good, but maybe he had to because he was getting the Job.
The plain and simple fact that the 2022 Batman film with Robert Pattinson was the most financially successful DC movie in the last 5 and 6 years if you don't count the Joker and the fact that we are getting a Supergirl movie before we're getting a sequel to a property that was so established and so critically acclaimed and well-liked is concerning to me, makes it seemed like all these people that are labeled haters that say that James Gunn only cares or prioritizes his own projects is a lie, all of this kind of makes them sound hypocritical because the Batman already being an established property and then the Penguin series coming out and doing so well there's no reason we should be having to wait another 4 year to get a sequel to that movie considering that by the time it starts filming it will almost be 7 years since they started filming the original movie

@ DC studios doesn’t greenlight anything until the script is finished, which is why Lanterns and Supergirl were announced but not greenlit until a few months ago. So, if the DCU Batman movie’s script isn’t finished, the project isn’t gonna get greenlit. The director didn’t say the film was delayed, he said the film will not come out for a while. Why? Well probably the same reason the other projects haven’t been greenlit yet, not a good finished script.
Personally I loved MOS, it made 670 million dollars in 2013 which is equal to 958 million dollars in 2024. I really enjoyed the grounded realistic take on Superman but I get not all did, that’s fine not everyone needs to like the same thing. When it comes to Gunn pending Parody Hope others enjoy it, I will wait until it’s free won’t be giving a penny to Gunn, a man who openly mocked child sex abuse and thought it was funny. @ Regarding the damage and destruction he was dealing with multiple fully powered Krypton’s, he snapped a fully powered zods neck because it was the right thing to do. Yeah people died as that’s the reality of two gods effectively fighting around us. All the people getting upset that Superman killed a fully powered Zod, seem to forget that in SM2 he turned Zod Human eliminating any threat, then he crushed his bones to dust and threw him against an Ice Wall, Donner had him kill. They added that pathetic arrest scene in months after shooting and it never made the Final Cut anyway. So in MOS he killed Zod Because it was the right thing to do and he saved billions with his actions. In SM2 he killed Zod because it was vindictive and there was no threat.
We haven't forgotten that. It is also odd when Superman kills. Yes, it does make sense in the grand scheme of things. But Superman always tried to find another way. Having him break that in his first movie is odd. Forcing him to make that choice in a later movie would make more sense and then seeing the consequences of those actions as it eats at Clark.

Having said that I think he needs to stay the hell away from Twitter and I think he needs to stop writing checks that his mouth clearly cannot cash. We all knew that Jason was kissing up to him and that they were buddy buddies so that Jason somehow somewhere was gonna show up in his new DC universe no surprise there both Batman projects being delayed does seem a little fishy and the fact that well Andy came out and said that it’s delayed and then James comes out and says it’s not that just spells disaster. Yeah, my excitement level for DC has only diminished with each passing day especially with each time that James Gunn gets on Twitter. This is absolutely trash Jason Momoa as Lobo. I can see it. The only reason he got the job is because he buried up to James gun it’s horrible to see him return and Henry Gal and Ben got kicked to the curve.
He will probably do well as lobo. But Gunn is just trying to cover up his mistakes

It can still be delayed even without a release date as they had one behind the scenes and the director says it has been postponed

That is true. There have been issues with that movie from when they started looking for a director. We just hope we get a good project with it. Moving Robert Pattinson to be the main Batman doesn't seem to bode well though. Thank you! We are glad you enjoy the content
@ yeah it’s strange there’s been literally no movement on brave and the bold for nearly 2 years since it got announced. I honestly think Andy is no longer directing and are still trying to figure out what they are going to do. They obviously know Batman is important and is the cornerstone of dc not to mention the most popular superhero of all time. Plus James Gunn said in an interview that Batman is his favourite superhero. I’m very curious to see how all this unfolds. They must know the stakes involved to get this right.
