These Patek conversations are the best in the business. What a treat.
Just love the Perpetually Patek series. Please keep it coming Tim and Brian. Cheers
Yes another perpetually Patek!! Thank you guys
Absolutely adore Patek
Ok, boys..... You talked me into it. I will take a 5968A, and my lovely wife wants a 7968/300R. Humble starter pieces for this amazing brand. Oh and that 5275P, if Tim loves it I usually will too! Great episode by the way.
Best way to start my Saturday morning…only , exceptional-college football Saturday !
I would love to see more vids of you guys working together..
The Franck Muller Patek
Illuminating
If the dial says PP is great. If the dial says Franck Muller, not so much?
Patek should do a crazy hours version
regarding the T150; Just looking at it from the screen, yellow gold case, may be not a favorite today, yellow gold markers and white dials, very heavy contrast but the lay out of the dial is unlike any from Patek and it absolutely works. If I made a bet to purchase it blind, I would, all those annoying features like the yellow gold markers on white, the white dial will all be so well done and immaculately finished that you cannot help but fall in love with it. I bet good money that watch will be a charmer. Tourbillon in a case back, only Patek, the swiss are killing me with blind shooting a tourbillon on a dial, Blancpain 50 Phatoms Tourbillon???
I agree with the 5980 chrono being a one of a kind iteration from that family, however, the peacock Nautilus featured in Pras's talking watches is a hell of an iteration and I hate diamond encrusted watches.
The 5275P , what a piece....
Tim and Brian, what are your thoughts on the 4947/1A? own one but recently have seen ads marketing it to women? steel annual calendar on a bracelet?
Huh, a video series called Hidden Gems talking about watches that are overlooked. That sounds like a great idea, I wonder if anyone else has done that before?
As if this concept is so unique lol
@@DelusionalNYC hey if we can't have some passive aggressive fun on a Saturday morning then what are we doing here
Miss your C&C content. Ben made a mess.
I believe this series is called Perpetually Patek…
Mark, when you were at the big H, weren’t you the one who copied Tim Mosso’s 60-second overview videos? And in your role as social media manager there, were you the one who blocked Mr. Mosso on instagram?
With the watch collecting ecosystem showing signs of down sized cases, I wonder if Patek and other brands will start down sizing as well. I mean, I am a big dude and I cannot get around to wearing a 40mm Patek, especially if it is not a chronograph, especially if it is not based on some kind of military aesthetic.
I hate to say it but after being told that sizes increased due to the American market, Americans and their bigger is better mentality should try to be put aside when it comes to classic watches. I have a 7.5 inch wrist, I tried on a JLC sector dial date and I was wondering what JLC was thinking.
Brian can talk watches in the way sports center can talk American football, I tune in every time
A revere Patek for their engineering and design genius but am completely at peace knowing I will never own one. I don't even want one, just knowing they exist and learning about them is enough.
Every watch ever made..🤔
Patek pre-silicon with the geneva seal... That's where it starts and stops... modern pateks ain't high horology and definitely not a hand-me-down to your great grandkids.
Overrated but still a great brand. Jump on the carousel and play the AD allocation game or pay exorbitantly secondhand, same as Rolex and AP. I’ll stick to the undervalued brands on the aftermarket.
Which undervalued brands are your favorites ?
WHY??? Brian destroy viewership! He doesn’t add anything!
