How are you supposed to know this organically? Is there a note or a file that lays out at least a little of the back story to the key, briefcase, glow plug and bunker? Are we all just supposed to rely on walkthroughs, Dev diaries, and data mined maps. What's the thread that starts this all off?
I was part of the early access test build and was playing the map 2 weeks prior to release. We had no iZurvive map and no inside info, I found out a lot of what i did just playing the map and exploring. I found the briefcase on one run and the keys on a different run, bunker on another and just put two and two together. So if you want to do it naturally and organically you can, just need to stay away from UA-cam videos like this one and avoid watching streamers so you can explore and find everything yourself! As far as I know there are no notes, lore or information on how to do this in game. You just explore and eventually you would be able to piece the puzzle together. In my opinion that's the best way to really enjoy the map and the guides and info are only there for people that don't want to do it organically
Just found the briefcase no key yet is there any more spawns besides the three sheds at the heli? Fyi u can pick up the briefcase and run away with it lol
so it`s still like that, that you can wait (camp) the whole time for a victim who is doing the quest and shot him if he starts to open the gate to the bunker. Awesome xD
Should be the same on console, other then the briefcase you can try looting industrial areas to find the glowplug. Seems like the spawn is super low though. Goodluck!!
Glad you found it! My bad brother, the video definitely could of helped a little more in that regards. Wish the Izurvive map was out when I made it. The one I got stuck using for the vid was a little rough and isn't as clear as it should be. We spent hours running around that island doing circles as well before we finally found the location LOL

It seems like there's no 5.56 weapons on the official loot table for this map. I play mainly community servers though where admins have changed the loot to allow all the guns to spawn again so unfortunately I can't give a detailed response on this
@@SubieDew 5.56 guns are in the island crates. Found Ak-101, m4, m16 and DMR. It’s also the only place Ive found 5.56 ammo. I’ll probably join a server like yours soon. The official loot table stinks
oh nice, good to know thanks! Honestly I would give DayOne, ZERO or KarmaKrew a chance. Like you said the official loot is absolutely terrible, they also increased pop to 60 on all these servers. Map plays way better there then on official!
You need the scientific keys to open the briefcase, inside the briefcase you get the glowplug that operates the generator. You will need fuel as well, I got lucky and there was still fuel in the generator from someone else that used it before I got there. That's the only way to get the glowplug on this map. The generator powers 4 switches that open doors inside the bunker where all the high tier loot can be found. You can still get in the bunker without the glowplug (no key needed) but wont be able to loot A1-4 doors found inside. Also need a light source, as it's pitch black once inside.
So I checked the back end of my server and the Scientist with the key has 10 locations it can spawn in at, I also checked the glowplug spawn areas and it says its classed as a tool and spawns in Industrial locations so maybe you dont need to open the briefcase to get one.
The glowplug can be found outside the briefcase but IDK its rarity. I found one in a military bag at Ore Harbor in a military conex, I may have been lucky.
I've only seen him so far on the South side of the volcano. If not there just need to keep searching around the whole volcano seems to be mid way up, closer to the bottom in all the spawns I've seen him. Its a pain, and took me an hour on one of my attempts. Good luck!
@@SubieDew thanks for reply, I found him by luck. I had a car parked on the road next to a post so after searching for a bit I went back to the car got in logged out and got some food, I loaded the game back up and the dude had spawned right next to the car beside the post I was at.
Its a gorgeous map, they really killed it in terms of terrain, mountains and landscapes. I find myself stopping to stare and just take it all in. If your a fan of Namalsk I 100% recommend giving it a shot!

Should be the same on console, other then the briefcase you can try looting industrial areas to find the glowplug. Seems like the spawn is super low though. Goodluck!!

Does the door open or is it just cosmetic? The guide is for the MAIN bunker where all the high tier loot is, the one requiring a glowplug to get into

Since you are giving the info away Izurvive map shows the possible locations for the scientist around the volcano.
Video was made before Izurvive map came out, so I did what I could without a map showing me all the spawns
