    Loved this video, thank you so much Dr. Linkov, you are the best!!
    I got my hair transplant on July 3rd in Turkey. I started watching your videos this past April. I watched many of your videos several times. I have been watching and learning from all these videos every single day (before the surgery and after). Based on one of your videos, I died my hair (only donor area) after the third week, even though I was told not to dye it for six months, I am hoping that it won't be an issue. Please kindly advise if you have time.

    Did you see in the news where a man was removed from an American Airlines flight because he had bleeding from a hair transplant?! I mean, how badly could he have been bleeding? Personally I think the airline overreacted and/or could have at least found a way to replace his dressings? I know they have first aid kits

    Thanks Doctor Linkov for this brilliant educational information. One of my friends got his hair done in Turkey and they removed hair from his beard and put it at the front. And after several months later. I don't think it was a good idea to put beard hair up the front cos it's all curly there and the back is straight as an arrow ➡

    If I was a man, seems like the best place to harvest would be the beard area near the neck or area where I would shave all the time anyway. This way you can be conservative and save the back of the head for the future. But perhaps the type or texture of this hair would grow differently? Well- if I waited patiently to the rest of your video at 16:09 you address this

    I went local for my HT in Austin, TX only 10mins away from where I live. The office instructions and the information, including post-op care, I received from from my local clinic and from this channel by Dr. Linkov are why I had the best recovery. I considered the surgery after hours of watching Dr. Linkov’s videos. I had to use the ‘ol credit card and take the utilization hit, but I’ll eventually pay it off and raise my credit a bit lol. I’m 19 days post op, just waiting for growth :) I’m extremely happy and very addicted to this channel 😅😊

    the problem with the phrase 'noticing hair loss' and then an age connected to that is that some people will notice it only if it gets really bad and some who are very aware of how their hhair looked, will ' notice' it much earlier. So the age that you notice it does not correspond automatically with the age that you experience it. Some guys are clearly notwood 2 and over and only seem to notice it then. Also, people with diffuse hair loss will likely ' notice it' later because its much less straight forward of all the hair is 20% thinner. However, if your hairline starts to move back and you comb your hair backwards each day, I can imagine a person " notices" it much earlier.
    The whole question when people started balding is such a subjective question too. Some people call the first stages of balding just getting ' a mature hairline' and with some that might be the case and with some it might not be. My hypothesis is that if your hairline becomes square it could mean 2 things
    - Your hair indeed fell out in the corners
    but it could also mean that as a man your head becomes more square in shape, which means that the scalp that is on it will stretch with that and if the bone undernearth your hairline becomes more square, then your hairline will be stretches' more square too without you losing any hair at all and it dos not in any way indicate your are on your way of baldng either.
    SOme people are called norwood 0 zero while ignoring their skulls shape. IF someone has a thin small dome, then their forehead will always be small. IT does not mean they are a norwood 0. If their forehead is big because their skulll is big, it does not mean they are a norwood 2 either.
    Too few doctors seem to think _deeply_ about such things and pretty much just repeat what 100 others have said before them without sufficiently understanding such things.

    Why would a young guy like that need a hair transplant? It's kinda scary how good plastic surgery and all that kind of thing is, so you don't know what is real and what genetics will be passed onto your kids if you have kids with someone. I think everyone should disclose what they've had done before a relationship gets too serious.

    Hello sir,
    I still dont understand the difference between dhi and fue techniques. As your explanation, fue is a harvesting technique but dhi is implantation technique. So why all the clinics offers us these two options always? Why we have to choose? And if fue is a harvesting technique, why it has a different implantation style rather the dhi(Opening channels and implantation on 3rd step)? Or, if dhi is a implantation technique, how they do harvesting in dhi? With fue, or fut? Or any other technique?

    What I don't understand is if your hair is fallinging out from certain areas of your scalp (usually genetics), why doesn't the transplanted hair, once it "settles in and starts growing" also become affected by the genetic condition of that scalp area and fall out?

    • @princejoseph8280
      @princejoseph8280 2 місяці тому +5

      It is not the scalp that has the issue. It is the hair follicle itself that has the genetic issue. Such hair follicles just happen to grow together on that male hair loss pattern area for some reason. So the sides and back of the head hair follicles doesn’t have the genetic issue and will continue to grow without issues if transplanted to front or mid part of the head.

    • @princejoseph8280
      @princejoseph8280 2 місяці тому

      Some males have the hair follicles at the back of the head (at the end) genetically susceptible and lose hair there. If we transplant hairs from that area to the front it will also miniaturise and fall out eventually

    My opinion is just one, but bald men are NOT unattractive. It’s pretty normal and a masculine trait. It’s a bit like maybe a chubby lady who is hyper feminine. It’s not considered “ideal” but many men think it’s quite attractive. I am a woman in her thirties so maybe that why. Just my thoughts.

      That's not solving the problem. Your normal hair will continue to fall out without finasteride. And the transplanted hair is not guaranteed immune to DHT. So doing a hair transplant without taking medication is very risky.

      @@Bakanellibullshit, not everyone keeps developing hair loss until they are Norwood 7, for a lot of people they simply stop at Norwood 3 or 4 and you won't need medication after you filled out these areas.

      You take medication that prevents the balding from continuing farther once you have the surgery. If you wan't to prevent having to have this surgery in general then get on the medication before you get to later stages.
