@@FARXD21-b8x TFO3 is a hobby convention in Japan. I believe due to Covid they shifted the convention to being online so that’s why it’s TFO1-4. A lot of sellers sell garage kits there and Gura was one of the recent ones sold. She literally sold out within a second or two
Spectacular. I was kinda able to follow along with the process until ya boy started marinating the plastic Gura 3:58. He's undoubtably at a level far beyond us mortals.
I don't know much of the details but normally those sets has some chemicals on the plastic that need to be removed if you don't want a bad time painting or something like that, i believe that just some type alcohol
@@turtlecat0262 i mean he would if he does this a lot and doesn’t want to be breathing in the fumes all the time. if you’re dealing with large quantities of alcohol it can get pretty bad lol. speaking from unfortunate experience
All theses garage kits are so inspirational. I've got a kit I'm starting on my uni holidays and I cant wait to paint her. Amazing work man she turned out really cute ^^.

I don't usually make comments, but as a still learning student of this hobby I have to grab as much info as I can. I managed to be lucky enough to buy one of these Gura kits. It came exactly as in this video. I probably won't be answered as you get a lot of comments, but Sukima-Sensei, I would really like to know all the colors you used on this particular kit so I can try my hand at it when I finally tackle this project. I am eager to learn and if anybody else in this comment thread would like to chip in on what they think Sukima-Sensei used to paint (just in case Sukima-Sensei doesnt see this comment) I would also greatly appreciate it! Thank you very much in advance to anybody that manages to read this comment!
Im not japanese and this video is quite long but i watched every second of it. This looked really fun, infact i kinda would really like to try something like this. I really liked this concept in warhammer figures already and honestly the dedication which went into this figure and into this video is really amazing. This is actual Art. Absolutely amazing Hobby. My highest respect to the person which made this. Also great job on the figure and the colors and everything. The figure itself is also really adorable and looks awesome. Im really amazed by this.
There were some really interesting tools and techniques in this video. What is little tool used to correct the over-spray and remove paint? The wishbone thing that holds a thin strip of sanding paper is cool too. The circle tool use cut the masking tape, I must find these things and add them too my hobbying life. Watching this person work work is such a great learning experience.
Not sure about the others but you can look up DSPIAE circlular cutter for the circular masking cutter tool. Let me know if he responds with the other tools!
you can make one of those small sanders at home with some bull clips, or one of those Y shaped flossers you can get at the drug store. there’s tutorials out there for how to make a sturdier one too, though i can’t recall where i saw them
