  • One of the biggest problems with PSVR is that your glasses can easily scratch your PSVR headset lenses if your not careful. I have looked at a variety of options and by far the best solution is to put a rubber barrier (rubber bumper) around the lenses to stop your glasses touching. I found a person who sells them online and they have been great at stopping this issue:

PSVR owner and wear glasses. I've ruined two sets of lenses so far. The first was the PSVR lens themselves. So I had to buy and entire spare PSVR headset for parts and completely dismantle both to swap out the lenses (this is the ONLY way to do it). To prevent that nightmare from happening, I ordered lens covers for $50. Within a few months, both are scratched again. Let me be crystal clear. If you wear glasses, you WILL eventually scratch the lenses and your VR unit will have permanent blurry smudges when you put them on. I've been EXTREMELY careful with the headset and it still happened. And no, lens repair kit often do not work. They only work for scratches. Most of the time, the lens is going to have a deep gouge that cannot be repaired. All VR manufactures have given zero consideration for those wearing glasses. It's a BIG problem. The only real choice is to not wear glasses at all and find someway to install your prescription into the headset itself. If multiple people use the VR headset, then it needs to be a system where you can take them out easily. I think some sites offer 3D printed glasses that can be installed in the headset. This is your only real option until VR manufactures get their head out of their ass and realize "Oh YEAH, a LOT of people wear glasses! We need to offer a cheap frame that can be installed and they can just order their lenses lens online to fit them".
    It's not rocket science.

I just got mine 3 days ago and I have a little scratch on first 30 minutes of playing on left side lens. I try playing without my glasses but it makes me feel sick and it’s very blurry without them. I’ll try them thanks!

I've just received some of these and yes, they're a lifesaver.
My glasses didn't touch the vr lenses but I though better to be safe than sorry.
    Nice vid BTW 😁😁

Thanks for the comments. They are indeed a lifesaver, most of my friends wear glasses as well and I don't have to worry about them scratching it. It all depends on what type of glasses you have! How are you finding VR?

Love my VR!! Just annoyed that I didn't buy one sooner. I have a smaller pair of glasses that I think do touch the VR lenses but now with these guards on i won't have to worry anymore 😊😊

I just made my own with some self adhesive foam tape. After wearing my glasses, the display looks exactly the same which I cannot figure out as I have double astigmastism! Glasses should have helped. They fog up after a while so in the end made things worse.

I wanted some form of lens protection but i couldnt find anything in stock, mainly because it was right after Christmas. Unfortunately, i now have an S shaped scratch on the left lens so i will buy these and prevent anymore. Hopefully i can buff out the scratch or something.
