$27900, you gave that away. There is 40k in that car easy. An FE built like that costs a lot! Someone spent a lot of money with Crites, hood, bumpers, old school traction/ lift bars, long tube headers, probably motor mounts too. A100 Dodge van seats are hard to find and not cheap, then recover. $2500 for the trans and converter at least, and on and on. Well worth the price. I don't especially like green, but if I had bought it, the green would have stayed. Great job Nick!
Very beautiful car for being 57 yrs old I only wish I could afford it I'd buy it in a heartbeat. My dad use to race ford's back in the 60s and had same yr. Only his was black. Thank you for sharing.
That’s it Bro. Racers will add a power switch also. They start cranking the motor then hit the power switch and it will bust rite off, then turn on fuel pumps and water pumps. Yes Sir🇺🇸🏁
Getting behind the wheel of a big block brings back that feeling of going out on a Saturday night back in the day heading to the drive-ins hitting the old street race spots the good old days lol
Dang!!!! That one has the correct wheels, and the correct rumpa rump!!! That would be one fast toy for sure, no need for power steering, that beast is made for the straight lines a quarter mile at a time!!! Dude you have got a dream job and it looked like you had a blast with this one. Really sweet ride!!!
I owned one of these Falcons back in the 60's. It was a measly 260 V8 and 3 speed stick with Hurst shifter and chrome wheels and I managed to get dual pipes on it. The color was very close to this one. Lucky guy that got this one!
I look at a lot of classic car sales web sites on UA-cam and I think you have the best dealership and car videos out there! Keep up the great work Nick!
This is the kinda car your neighbors love when you start it at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning to go to Cars n Coffee. They'll come to their front door in their pajamas to wave you on everytime.
Can’t tell you how cool it is to see all 3 startups you do in each video now. I love them! Just missing the true cold start but hey I love all of them especially when you show us what you do with the gas pedal. I’ve loved your videos since you were fusion Kidd! Miss those boots!
Love it. I had one. Yall should have kept it and made it your signature race car. Take it to the track and race it and c record it. Everyone would have enjoyed that. Please keep your prices fair so when I can afford it I'll come to yall. Thanks for honesty. I like 3rd gen camaro. Or 64 anything. Also 61 chevy. God bless.
Bumpers are painted because they’re fiberglass. It may seem like it shifts a little late because of the stall converter. Both things and the chips are common on race cars that aren’t trailer queen’s. Always loved 64-65 Falcon’s but hard to buy so I have a 63 Falcon also super cool. Nice car and video. 🏁🇺🇸
Put some mufflers on it and cruise you got a lot money in motor and trans well worth the money. If I owned it I would take it to Byron ILLINOIS drag strip let it rip. 15 miles from by home
Gosh I love this Falcon! I used to drive one that had a 351 Cleveland in it! This one has a good sound but sounds like a small block! Starter dragging a bit!
I had the 64 Sprint convertible falcon. I put a boss 302 in it with a 4-speed. Unfortunately a Cadillac pulled out in front of me while I was going down the road and I totaled the little falcon. So I took the motor out and put in a 1965 Mustang. They were both fun cars to own.
The green is interesting but tasteful. The pitting is perfect! I believe two A/FX Falcons were produced and one was restored locally. My dad was involved with the restoration so as a kid I had the pleasure of taking pictures of a real A/FX Falcon. If this Falcon was maroon it would be dangerously close to a real factory racer! Nice car!
What an incredible find! I would love to have this beast but I'm short by 7K for this car! This is a vintage drag car! Besides the color, carbueration and the automatic trans, this is a darn close replica of Dick Brannons maroon ROMY HAMMES FORD 427 Falcon drag car from 1964 in Indiana! I'm stoked about this car!!! Again, great find! Whoever buys this car is gonna have a monstrous gem!
@@joen5332 I'm wondering how you figured that out Joe. There's no shots of the lower end so no way to see if it has cross bolts. It sure looks like an FE engine. Could be a 390 406 or 401 I suppose. At least we know a 427 would cost as much as the entire car right? Lol Anywhoo love the BB FEs. Sound like an 8 cyl Harley on brimstone from hell.
I didn't think it was possible to get an FE into a 64 Falcon without cutting the shock towers? I believe the 65-66 Mustang used the same engine bay dimensions as the 64-65 Falcon. There was no big block option on the first two model years of the Mustang because the FE wouldn't fit. From 67 on the Mustang shared the same engine bay specs as the Fairlane/Torino. Those cars could all be optioned with a big block.
The FE big blocks measure smaller than the GM or Mopar big blocks. A 427 block is about half way between a 289 block and a GM big block. But it looks like the shock towers were modified anyway. One thing you can't hide is the location of the distributor. The water pump is barely visible in the video too. It's an FE big block. Looks just like any 390 I've owned. The only proof I can tell that it might not be an actual side oiler is the price. Btw back in the day hot rodders and racers crammed 427s into every Ford made...including the Pinto. Although the 429 was a more popular choice by then.
Well I'm no Ford expert so I couldn't tell what it was, but they did sale a Mopar awhile ago and it had a Hemi in it and the price they were asking seemed cheap for the car having a Hemi. Thanks for the Ford info.👍
Haven't seen cheater slicks in forever. What great vintage piece 👌 ,I wonder what the gearing is LOL although I can see it wouldn't matter with no weight and big block tourqe 👍
The car to use when you're having a cookout and forgot to get something at the store lol.. I'd love to own this but my insurance company and wallet would not.

Yes , that was too cheap . I was offered close to that for my 289 , C4 65 falcon ,said no .
One of the sweetest falcons I’ve seen
No need for a horn loud pipes saves life's. Beautiful car.
BEAUTIFUL PAINT JOBB AND COLOR 😊
That will get you to the carry-out in a hurry! I love those old Falcons. If that doesn't put a smile on your face while driving, nothing will. : )
Beautiful old Falcon, I'm not a Ford guy but I do love this car, nothing is so awesome as the thumpity bump of a radical race cam,
You should become a Ford guy.

I like maple motors it reminds me of the cars dealerships from the good era where real cars were being made.
Just FYI, dont turn on the fuel pump or fan until after you start the car, saves on battery for starting a high compression engine.
Agree. The timing needs a little tweaking.

yeah I did set off a lot of car alarms lol funny
Really sharp car, great color, awesome interior, strong engine, just.... WOW! ♥️♥️♥️👍
All that and still stock wheel wells...bravo for preserving this beast
Wow she really sounds amazing and shifts are so smooth!
BEAUTIFUL FALCON
This is one badass, clean, and straight body '64 Falcon. It's one of the nicest I've seen around. The best thing is it's a Thunderbolt clone.
I have owned Chevelles , mustangs , challengers but I like this car , great ride along video Nick !
Cool to see a 427 Ford motor in a lightweight car, bet the test drive made your sticker peck out, lol, it sounded great, lot of motor.
