- Diana is one of my top fashion icons. These are my top ten of her dresses, Now I know I left out alot of the more famous dresses from the 1980s but please remember this is my list, feel free to make your own. The thing is I am in my early 20s so many of these dresses I feel you could wear today and still look amazing.

She is an inspiration. A woman who was young but who got inner strength and resolve. Despite her circumstance, being married without being loved truly and honestly, she sailed on and overcame many a sadness in her life. The end must have been tragic.....but it was then when she found her peace. ❤❤❤

I was a student nurse in the late eighties when HIV hysteria was at its height. There was no treatment & many were hospitalized. I always thought if Princess Diana can do it, then I can too. Not only was she elegant & beautiful but she was inspirational

I knew someone who had met her in Australia - she was more beautiful in life, breathtaking in fact. What style, class and beauty. Women copied her style - loved her clothes etc. What have we got today??? Nothing will ever replace her class and elegance. Wish we could go back to her era. Looking back now I really like her wedding dress and that tiara - wow. She looked wonderful.

Camilla can't compare. Diana was beauty and grace and kindness as love. She was a wonderful human being and humanitarian. Camilla is a dog. She is ancient and ugly and never had any common sense. Probably why Old Willy and Waity Katie get along so well with her.

She was ellegant in every dress! Even in those little bit funny outfits modern in the early 80s. But also this is a very good choice(video)! Timeless dress designs. She had a great army of people around for hair and clothing and she was special like a person so it was great combination.
Dianna missed her calling as a model. She is one of the most stunningly beautiful women that I’ve ever seen. She’s a classic beauty. My 2 favorite dresses from these are the Princess Grace Kelly dress & the Queens dress.
This lady could rock anything from denim jeans and a sleeveless blouse to the most elegant and fashion forward designs. Another favorite of mine is the gown she wore when dancing with John Travolta. RIP Princess Di.

After watching this wonderful item, I can’t help but cry & agree with Leanna, I STILL cannot believe Diana has gone 😢! I was very fortunate, I live in the UK, and met this extra special person twice. She was, both stunning but the most extra special & extraordinary person. Too good for the Royal Family, and Charles did not deserve her! We, the public did, and then we lost her.
Heartbreaking & tragic, but certainly not “just” a car accident!
Diana will forever be missed. She reminds me of a shooting star or comet that comes along once in a very great while and then is gone. May I also add an "Honorable Mention" to the beautiful, simple red dress that she wore when she left the hospital following Prince Harry's birth? She was absolutely stunning that day!

She was so tall and elegant and wore clothes beautifully. I loved the way she walked - quickly and with purpose. I also liked that she went with the times in regard to her hair style and didn't cling to the boofy styles of her younger days. She became more beautiful as she matured. It's such a shame that Prince Charles married her when he didn't love her. He was her downfall.

Without Charles we’d likely never have known her. I remember saying, out loud, when she starting dating al-Fayed, that that would be the death of her. The poor judgement and recklessness inherent in that relationship. It was all such a shame and so needless. Just my opinion. She sure was gorgeous.

My favourite was a high neck lace halter dress. You can google it. I saw it in person at a showing of her dresses after she died. It has little light blue and light pink sequins on it but you can't see that in photographs. It was quite eerie seeing the wrinkles on it where she had creased it when sitting.
