This event was crazy. A lot of us went into it not really expecting what it turned into which I feel added a lot to this wacky time travel experience. Was originally going to take this week off to work on another project but this one needed to be shown to the world lol. If you enjoy consider leaving a like, helps a bunch!
Big shout out to Walrus who spent like 3-4 hours with me uploading, testing, and troubleshooting the mission multiple times to get everything working just right for Op day!
the trees swaying is an awesome touch (I am not experienced in arma but I have never seen that before in it so I'm assuming that was because of you. :D)
I love that Bean went through the effort of making an actual CIA document to explain everything. And literally nobody reading the document and asking questions answered on the doc is peak DM pain XD "DOCTOR COLESLAW TOOK THE SUN!" ~ JayRaptor, 2024(?) Also, it's nice that the ground textures completely fucking up during Cycle 32 only adds to the reality rift feeling XD
The classic struggle between "here is a serious story I have painstakingly written" and "whatever dude I'm just here to kill things and make jokes". Tonal mismatch.
if you don't add that detail people complain, if you do they ignore it, no wonder DM's become sadistic with scenarios, it's just the natural progression
What a cool concept. Would love to see a movie about a group of soldiers attacking a compound, only to find the soldiers who were defending it were themselves, and now they have to defend the compound from their next iterations.
would have been hilarious to put the intro of the video again at the end, and a massive card that basicly just cuts into the video segment AFTER the intro, to TRULLY, make it a loop.
"Every time we're about to murk them, they turn back time to create an infinite hell loop. Shocking this entire event felt like a movie to me." No, Jay, you've just described the plot of EDF 6.
this has to be the coolest ignis op so far imo. CanadianBean needs more credit because this is cool as shit. finding out that the loops already started the moment the intro ended felt like i was watching tenet again
I imagine these setups go something like this: The average Ignis Corp member: oh boy, what fresh Hell of horrors beyond my comprehension await me today? Zeus: hehe, murder is fun
I’ve played arma for a loooooooong time. But I’ve never experienced anything like 99% of your videos show. Absolutely amazing work. True testament to the ageless classic that arma 3 truly is.
At this point I think ignis is multiversusal constant that exists across all reailty, and are alwasy as chaotic and deranged in each universe. Usually hired to do assignments organizations think are too dangerous or they don't want to do. Hell they can be hired on both sides, (seen in the half life videos).
Scp ignis is group of entities that travel to seemingly random points in time and space in the multiverse either joining in on war that is on going or getting prepared and set for a war that seemingly appears or starts soon after their arrival. It is unknown if they are malicious or fight for greater good of the multiverse as they can be either join or simply be both sides of a conflict. All we know is that we are able to send orders and mission objectives to do and they will do it emo long as it supports the campaign or war they are currently taking place in. These entities all seem in various states of consciousness some able to talk others seem unable to communicate, others are able to simply change their appearance with minimal effort getting. These beings are very strange and are considered to be dangerous simply unable to be contained but are able to quarantine or bribe with some easy
This gotta be one of the if not THE coolest op that I have ever seen. I can not even begin to imagine the amount of time planning, scripting, ect this took. Big shout out to the mission maker fr.
What an incredible op, map and video! Also the Mission Complete fakeouts make me realize that if Ignis ever escapes containment, it'll be really easy to stop them: just hold up a giant sign saying Mission Completed and they'll take care of it themselves.
Hostile: "How does it feel getting stuck in an infinite timeloop, doomed to die over and over, forever unable to win?" Ignis Company Member: "Euphoric" *Little dark age begins playing*
This is such a badass and unique concept! I am kinda guessing Bean made this op and if so bro really outdid himself! Amazing video Rubix always love the content, your editing really brings these videos up another notch!!!
15:40 That just reaffirms my amazement that you were able to restrain yourself from ignoring the order to kill the doctor and instead kill High Command or whoever was Zeusing the op. I probably would have done that long ago just to end the psychological torment.
Absolute props to the ignis mod team that put this up, they're the real hero's here, must have been an absolute pain to set all this up but an absolute blast to finally do. maybe one day I'll join ignis on somethin lol, but I'm more than happy to just sit an watch ^_^
This op looks like it was kick ass, all the little continuity errors through the video were a nice way of making me feel really uneasy for what seemed like no apperent reason. Also, Cypher death flagging the op with: "Unfortunately yes. How bad is that? Is that really bad?" P.S. really happy Ignis has its own Gangwars2 now.
3 things: This would be really amazing as a longer video maybe with some narration as if it were a documentary Yes, this would indeed be a movie. It would be a great movie imo You need to do more post credit commentary. Would be amazing!
Ok who ever was the Mission maker for this one out did them self this is crazy! Ope I got to the end credits thanks “Canadian Bean” for a crazy awesome mission🎉
You guys are a bunch of insanely talented bastards. The quality of those modded ARMA III missions of yours is a hell of a lot better than the recent singleplayer campaigns of COD or Battlefield.
This is honestly my favorite video of rubix's mainly just because of the line "THE FABRIC OF REALITY IS COLAPSING, AND ITS ALL DOCTOR COLESLAW'S FAULT" flawless execution on that line btw
The amount of video editing and gamed edits between each loops was super amazing, thought something was funky, super amazing work to everyone who put time into the op and video ofc!
I appreciate that there is more groups playing with crazy concepts in arma like this than just my group. Its always nice to see what others come up with!
Bro you always post during my welding break for school. I always watch it while waiting for class to start again such a good time. Thanks for all your work. Keep up the amazing work
This event was very very fun to watch! I am glad you enjoyed how crazy it was and I enjoyed the little detail you gave at the end! Oh god this will be an interesting one
You'd better drop a link to that fuckin' CIA document Bean made, or I'm going to buy Ignis leggings rather than a shirt.
I thought i told you kids not to touch my box of mangled shoe laces... you were warned.
mines here on november 19 if all goes well ^^
is there a way to view the streams on youtube?
"Good question. Maybe if you'd read the fucking lore document I gave you!"
As a sometimes DM, I felt that.
Can't even count how many times I had to explain things over and over again, the pain is so real
My players sometimes ask how one of THEIR abilities work and I have have to hold back from saying that
I've never identified with someone more than during that moment lol
As a forever DM who’s players are fighting an ancient evil god and have yet to even look for a library, I feel that
Real :(
Big shout out to Walrus who spent like 3-4 hours with me uploading, testing, and troubleshooting the mission multiple times to get everything working just right for Op day!
It's him! It's God himself!
Oh hey your alive. Hope you had a nice spooky month.
That Op was amazing, can we see the whole video of every loop because that would be incredibly funny to see every one’s first reaction
the trees swaying is an awesome touch (I am not experienced in arma but I have never seen that before in it so I'm assuming that was because of you. :D)
Brother you delivered better content than multi million dollar titans
“How about after the operation you meet me in the woods with nobody around and I’ll tell you”
Classic CIA
This is some tenet level operation, all that's missing is an entire platoon running in reverse
Bean's mission making abilitites are insane
This is a really good comparison.
Reality may have unfolded at the seams, but at least we perfected a new Hamburger Helper recipe
Why does your comment say 14 hours ago when the video was posted ten minutes ago? Are you in a time paradox?
Hold up, does this video have continuous lore?
How tf does this work
@Tom12aj he did say that reality unfolded at the seams after all😅
dude something weird is happening all my Hamburger Helper has been stolen and my calendar is backwards lol

Just another day for the Ignis Corp :D
Most realistic thing in the whole video tbh, most grunts can barely read.
if you don't add that detail people complain, if you do they ignore it, no wonder DM's become sadistic with scenarios, it's just the natural progression
Seems legit. Not even the CIA reads their own documents. That's why they are the bad guys.
What a cool concept. Would love to see a movie about a group of soldiers attacking a compound, only to find the soldiers who were defending it were themselves, and now they have to defend the compound from their next iterations.
That sounds like it’d be an awesome D&D session
There’s a movie kind of like that called tenant
Why wouldn't I just shout for me and my buddies or hop on our radio freq?
would have been hilarious to put the intro of the video again at the end, and a massive card that basicly just cuts into the video segment AFTER the intro, to TRULLY, make it a loop.

This story represents what happens to Ignis irl every time I replay one of Rubix's videos.
It's like SCP-1733. (Copies of people trapped in the recording of a basketball game and each time it's played they get to do another cycle.)
Does that make you Dr. Coleslaw?

The Cycle Continues...
Cycle #32
Failed Attempts:38
...
hmm
The cycle had cycles
Failed attempts could mean just failing to make a cycle occur and had to attempt again in a single cycle
11:47 had 58 failed attempts and 58 cycles. Does that mean time repeated immediately? @chaosinsurgency6636

they said they work for the lowest paying jobs
They are there own type of SCP at this point
Ignis being a multiversal eldritch entity who works for the lowest bidder seems very on brand for them lmao
They're the only group that can be paid for 1$ to do an impossible job, and most of Ignis will fight each other for that 1$ during/after a job
